My order came as planned today (phew) unfortunately the driver caught my mum on the doorstep and gave it to her (who didn't know there were returns in the garage!) whoops! will have to find a place for that box over xmas - i'm not doing c2 either break from job one and two :T

same here! last day at job 1 today until 4th and aside from a brochure order - no job 2 until 10th. aaaahhhhhhhhhhhh. now just got to finish getting ready for xmas. hmmm.

Wow I've been away ages! So much to catch up on!
I was admitted to hospital last week and was very poorly. Baby is fine thank God! I'm recovering slowly and am home with my DH & DS.
Needless to say Avon has been totally neglected for the whole campaign, I've had one order come in but havent even looked at it yet. been so poorly.
Had an email from SL asking me to make an order even if I have to return it cos she wont get her bonus if I dont.... Thanks for that!
Anyway wishing you all a happy christmas I'm going back to bed x

Aww ChasingSunshine - hope you are not too poorly, glad baby is well.
I really can't be bothered with C2 - had the odd order (only amounting to about 15 quid) so mite just contact them and say I won't put it through until C3.
Can't believe your SL said that - cheeky cow! Mine can email me all she wants - it goes to my work email and I won't be there :rotfl:

Have today received a NI contributions bill from HM Rev.saying I owe £24.00 as arrears prior to October this year. As I am not self-employed, I can only think it's for my Avon earnings, but I only started as a F&F rep in August so surely can't owe that much already? Have barely made that much in commission!!!

I'll be phoning them tomorrow but wondered if anyone else has received similar at all?

I work part time hours permanently, so not sure if that's got anything to do with it.

Ellie--x - you have to ask before canvassing more streets. If you're looking for more customers without doing that you can always approach local businesses. I've found them really hassle-free to deal with because they're always in and can go and get the book when I call.

I got my final delivery done. I've started being stricter with book collections, too. Two tries and then you get a note saying to ring me if you have an order. I used to do 3 tries.

I also asked for some extra territory thinking I'd be allowed a few more streets. Got quite a lot more than that so I've ordered 40 more C3s and am preparing to do a canvas in the new year. The new streets are going on backorder so I'll be able to start in C3 with the few C2s I've got left, but most will be done in C4. Learnt from my last lot of canvassing so I've improved my introductory note, things like that. Plan is to knock on doors on a Sunday afternoon but put books through doors anyway if people don't answer.

chasingsunshine - congratulations on the baby! At least I'm guessing that's why you were in hospital... There are a few Avon babies on the way and I haven't kept track of who's had theirs yet.

nessa, the IR won't know you are doing Avon unless you have registered as self employed with them. It sounds like the NI Contributions are from your work place, they may have underpaid, or you had a break between jobs?

The best thing to do is talk to them and find out what the bill is for.
