yes i know redditch a little. my friend is in a covers band based in bromsgrove/redditch area - 'The Reflections'. My brother used to live in Alcester but now lives in Warwick. small world eh.

grrr, not happy, one cos we dont have alot of snow down here! and i was hoping couldnt get into work!! and second the mood Creation Centrepiece from the online offer is no longer available! not happy as it was a present for my auntie and have to send presents down to where they live soon! and the santa Plush wine bottle cover is no longer available either,

Well our snow is very sparse too! Not happy as I love snow and it's my birthday! BOOOO
Oh well - weatherman says we might get more later tonight so fingers crossed!!
Have 5 orders for campaign 1 so far - nothing huge but every little helps!
Going out to collect the books tomorrow at some point - probably evening - at least they are all in my road lol
I keep expecting our local rep to hammer me for my cheek - apparently they have the whole town under their thumb! Well - as they can't be bothered to re-canvass other houses then frankly it's fair game - heard nothing more about new roads being allocated to me and the original 20 houses are industrial (MEN) units with extreemly little chance of anything! So - if local ASM won't get finger out... I shall do so myself! So there! LOL

I love the snow too! Wanted to take the kids I look after out in it if we had loads! can all but wish!
Happy Birthday for today :bdaycake: fingers crossed you/we get some more snow! hard to believe the weather people sometimes, been onto 2 different sites for the weather- bbc and metoffice and both say something different!

Well done on getting 5 orders, I havent got any yet prob due to the fact I havent been out to canvas my road yet as been feeling pritty rough with a cold!

To be honest, if you're not getting upline support from avon then I don't see the harm in canvassing. Just do yourself a little leaflet, and put tick boxes so you know if they already have a rep. You are not trying to steal customers, but find your own. Email your SL then stating where you cover and ask her to tag it to you.
Have a look for thing like coffee mornings near by and go along. Take some business cards or fliers with you and just test the water. People will soon say if they have a rep.
I was told I couldn't do the village where my MIL lives as someone does it. I thought it strange as she has been there so long and not had a book. Then more of her friends and neighbours asked. So yesterday I emailed my SL and said what's going on as they don't get books etc and she said oh the person does 2 roads in the village :eek: So am hoping I will be allowed to do MIL's road now. Seems a waste to block a whole village for someone who does 2 roads.

have seen 2 not sure if these are what your on about, they are in brochure 17 on page 18 advance techniques brushes gift set for £3.50 or on page 142 there is 2 for £4
