My gut feeling is that it doesn't flow like I would expect it to, but you could be right, it's worth investigating further!
  • Ok ,stupid question time :D

Are the couplets clues to different places? ie are they linked geographically now from the great hit Carsington Water,or are they random places in the uk? :o

What is the objective at the end :o The rules bit about the lines makes no sense to me even on 10th reading:o

    I'll get mi Coat :D

It might help you to read some of the previous solutions to the hunts from months gone by from the 'Completed Games' link on the top bar.

As I understand it from previous ones, we'll end up somewhere completely different, ie. we've got the answer to the first two lines, Carsington Water, so the next one/two lines will link to that in some way, so it could be something near Carsington Water, a place, a person from a place, or it could be that the next thing we're looking for is called Carsington and that was all we got out of the first clue, I hope that makes sense!
  • Thank You Very Much. Have been looking at the prev ones and see Im being far too literal:D

I now understand the 'Goodbye Weekend' bit in earlier post:D

Thank you for the clarification, greatly helpful :)

When we are all banging our heads with frustration, will reniannen walk in with the answer? :rotfl:
  • I'm just thinking more about the 'great source of pain' bit, I keep thinking pain as in a source of physical pain, but it could be so many other things than that, like mental pain, grief, 'a pain in the neck', etc etc

Hmm, this is very tricky, and once you get into one rhythm of thinking it's so hard to escape it and look at it another way! :o

It says 'You're soon to discover' wonder if the soon means it should be obvious or if it's just a filler?
