I gave in and the heating is on for an hour or so, I haven't decided for how long yet. The temp has only crept up two degrees to 12 and it feels balmy already. I'll be down to a sleeveless T-shirt soon at this rate.
My heating is at 22 tonight and I have my fleecy track suit on and id say im comfortable but definately not hot........Phew me I really dont know how you exist at 12 degrees:eek::eek:....We are supposed to have snow on Saturday, plus the temperatures are not going to go up much for the next 5 days , I do like a cold bedroom with the big window open whatever the weather, but I cant sit in a cold room........Take care...0 -

Primark do them, not sure what the quality is like though. They have covers but looked quite small.
I got one from M&S reduced, they were £12 with furry covers full price reduced to £6 in December though not sure they have them in stock now.
Definitely get the covered ones though, back as a kid we had just the rubber bottles that were a bit too hot at first then were cold in the morning!0 -

I exist at 12 degrees because I must. No masochist hard-nut here, I assure you. The heating is off now but still a "cosy" 13 degrees. I am wearing rather a lot of layers: thermal undergarments, my beloved fleece PJ bottoms on top of trousers and two fleece tops. Oh and a silk scarf so I don't get cold air going down the back of my neck. If I'd known before that I'd have to do this I wouldn't have thought it possible to be comfortably warm at 13 degrees but it is.0

That is definitely a call for posting a photo
Perhaps we should start another thread "What are you wearing" (to keep warm of course LOL)0 -
Yes, very funny gettingready, I wouldn't want to frighten the horses. I'm not quite cutting a Michelin-man-style outline yet but I could be if it gets any colder in here. Need to get the electric-blanket warming the bed and turned up to "max".0
