-8 here. brr.
I've got two hot water bottles and a hot man in the bed. At one point this afternoon I was reduced to calling the dog to warm me up. The heating's on again now. It'll go off at 7.30 and he'll bring me fresh hotties about an hour after that. Should last me the night.Time flies like an arrow.

Didnt get much above minus 6 here today - and is already minus 10 with a freezing fog out there
But I was toasty all day - shovelling the snow that fell yesterday so I could get the car off the drive0 -
Heating has been on all day, down low during the day and will go off at about 9, and come back on at six. I have an oil filled radiator in the hall for overnight as we have cheap rate electric overnight. The temperature is minus 8 just now, was down to minus 14 last night and was minus 10 walking to work this morning. Keep safe and cosy and please dont scrimp on heating if you can help it.Every days a School day!0

Used to watch TV with three hot men in the bed, but now I have to substitute hot water bottles for two of them during term time.Time flies like an arrow.

Cor, that sounds very warm.:) I notice the difference now my dogs don't come to bed and when DH isn't here. The cats provide some warmth, but not as much as a husband.0 -

It's warmer here tonight than it's been all week at just a mild -1, but I've got the heating on quite high and enough layers on.
It still feels freezing tho, most odd.0 -

I have found the times I personally find it hardest are not necessarily the times its coldest outside, and conversely its not necessarily easier if the temperature has risen outside...in side it may have not, you might be doing more sedentary stuff or just feeling it more. Take care.:)
Well, I've had the heating on low for a long while now and today, for the first time in ages, there is no condensation any where apart from bedroom and unheated front hall. Unheated back hall/utility and study are fine too.
The bedroo window has really swollen though, I couldn't crack the window last night, and when I tried to close it yesterday morning it was a struggle. So I'm leaving doors open and opening a window in the hall next door instead...there is no point risking broken window too.0
