Considering I've had the windows open I've not done too bad, then again I'm the bloke that has cold showers and often goes for a swim in the North Sea in February so I seem to've got used to the cold in some ways.
I live on the coast though so that usually keeps the temperature a little bit milder at this time of year and takes the edge off the cold at night so that is working in my favour.

During the day I can usually manage to keep warm enough by adding an extra layer of clothing or moving around and keeping busy. I'm trying to hold out until November but it's been very chilly overnight lately so my GCH is on for an hour in the mornings. No cold bathroom or showers for me! I got a good fix back in June, have a decent credit balance and see no sense in being cold when I don't have to be, especially as I'm no spring chicken anymore. 😕
Be kind to others and to yourself too.3
