The heating is on today as it has felt cold today. I had the heating on for about 5 hours yesterday as well.
Today there has been sleet outside so it is on and I also have a hot water bottle and a blanket over my lap.4 -

Def chilly today, keeps trying to snow as well. Even with heating my house is only getting up to 14-15C (and I have the fire on most of the day too! leccy bill about £150/mth for nov and dec).
But Im a fan of wrapping up well so currently wearing bed socks, leggings, t shirt and thermal jumper as base/going out layer. Then thick fleecey pjs and fur lined socks over that. then Oodie, wooly hat and extra large slipper boots (to fit all the socks!!LOL) to finish. Sounds alot but I am toasty warm and still able to wander round the house doing stuff so...result!6 -
My electric bill was also around 150 quid for December. My home is all electric wall panels, no gas and the EPC is C so it’s not too bad plus I don’t use the immersion for hot water. My reasoning is the showers are electric and all appliances are cold fill. Even so, it’s still a lot to pay compared to what it was pre price hike prices and I’m still careful

We had a bit of snow at lunchtime but it quickly changed to hailstones I was waiting quite a while for a bus home from the post office as a couple of busses had broken down due to the weather (it happens every year). I'm glad I left the heating on when I went out as it was bitterly cold out. It was 0 degrees outside but felt colder due to the accompanying wind. Pleased I don't have to go out again today. The heating will be on at 16 degrees until about 9pm when I will turn it down to 12/13 degrees for overnight. Wrap up warm and stay safe everyone.7

I'm ok in the morning..doing jobs..shopping etc.
Been putting heating on around 3pm for a couple of hours.
I do go to bed early though and watch TV there.
My combined gas and electric bill last month was £65 happy with that.6
