Have put it on properly tonight, it's turned decidedly chilly. Feeling a bit cold in warm clothes plus blankie on the sofa.Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0

I've just moved into my new flat and we haven't had the heating on yet! The day we moved in all the heaters were on and the place was sub-tropical! I'm always cold and suffer with Raynauds so I need to stay warm, but staying warm and spending no money on it, is the best type of warm!Challenger #52 in the £10 a day November Challenge

Ours is still off but I really noticed feeling cold after taking the dogs out yesterday so I had a blanket round me on my chair when I got home.0

On again for 10 mins this morning. As long as it only goes on for this 10mins a day i am not too bothered.0

Colder this morning but still off.Really pleased I have saved a whole month of gas it all helps with the bill.
We are going to carry on keeping it off as much as poss or on really low when it gets very cold.Hopefully it won't get really cold yet.0 -
Mines been off except for Sunday, when I really needed to get some clothes dried and they just weren't drying, just too chilly.0

Still off here in this modest semi.
Picked up a 500w electric personal fan heater and have run that for two hours for the last couple of evenings in the lounge. Have it connected to a plug in thermostat so it cuts out at 20 deg. I make it that its burning about one kw/h a night at the moment.
Obviously as its so low powered it won't be too effective when it gets colder, but its enough for now and cheaper than heating the whole house.
Here in the South West the temperature has not yet dipped below 5 deg, similar to 2011 which was a mild winter, our heating didn't go on until mid November - fingers crossed!0 -
I was thinking "Oooh, can put the heating on tomorrow" - then I thought "No, not if it's no colder than today!"
I'm wearing vest, t-shirt, hand knit jumper and a thin fleecy gilet thing, and hand knit socks. Oh, and a pair of jeans! And I'm perfectly comfortable. And the thermometer by the heating thermostat is reading 18 degrees.Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!0
