Still off in North Hampshire. It's still only light coat temperature putside, and I'm fine in just a jumper inside far. I haven't yet put on the fleecy mattress cover or an extra blankie on the bed.

Haven't put the heating on so far this year, typing this post beside an open window(which is left open overnight) ....I'm in Scotland.

  • We haven't had the heating on since about March of this year - well, our boiler is knackered and they can't fit us in to fit a new one until the end of November.

The house is well insulated and we have an electric fire downstairs if we get chilly. The issue rather than cold is that things are a bit damp - several doors have swollen a little and the bathroom towels/bath mat doesn't dry very quickly so I end up putting them in tumble dryer.

had it on the other day but then I wasn't very well & felt chilled.

I really hate it when it gets so cold, you have to have it on every day - my skin and sinuses get so dry! But then I suppose I can put up with that if it means it'll be freezing otherwise.

It's still off. We won't have it on until it gets to about 10 degrees inside.
