Getting chillier and windier here - just below the snowline Gogledd Cymru - but still no central heating. Will light wood burner later to burn paper and card rubbish to keep chill off as DD2 and I settle down to SCD :D Thats if we dont lose the electricity as we often do when its gets very windy:eek: Now where are the candles......................

I haven't had any heating on yet. In fact, today and for the past week it's been so mild that I've kept the windows open all day, even when I'm indoors :). I only hope this lasts for another few weeks, helping save for the energy price increases.
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.

the dressing gowns made an appearance last night on the sofas, some really soft ones from marks and spencers.....and as usual they made me fall asleep!! I can already hear a lot of wind, not looking forward till tonight

I have put a couple of the radiators on upstairs so will have a bit of heat from these this afternoon and evening, just in case we have any power cuts later tonight so it's already warm.
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.

I've had it on for the odd hour some mornings earlier this month, but I think the downstairs neighbours have put theirs on full now as I haven't needed it on for a week or so, and sometimes get too warm... Long may it continue, I say. I'd normally have it on a bit in both the morning and evening by mid to late October.

Only had it on for a handful of times so far... Off at the moment.
  • My heating's still off. Haven't had it on yet. But now that the temperature is really cooling down, I'm spending today draught-proofing the apartment.
