I'd give £290 million away to people who need it. Nothing you can buy will ever replace the feeling of helping others and seeing the smile on their face. Doing good and what you deep down believe to be right is much more rewarding than anything that can be bought.0

a disgrace of chavs.
if i had £300 million, i would construct a large dome, like in the simpsons movie, and wait until bob crow and his cronies were all in the RMT building, and then drop it over the top. that would cost about £100 million.
then i'd pump £200 million worth of nerve gas in.0 -

You would be famous for 5 minutes, get a thank you then you would spend the rest of your life wondering why the hell you gave 290 mill to charity.0 -
Give about 1/2 of it to charity.
Set up a lot of altruistic ventures.
Buy a few properties in places I like.
Move to the US or Germany.
Spend some of it on tat and rubbish.
Eat out almost every night or hire a personal chef to cook every meal for the family.
Put a lot away for my children.
Build a little observatory in the grounds of one of my properties to look at the night sky etc.
Buy a few nice cars - Nissan Figaro, Aldi etc.
Get my eyes fixed.
Buy properties for my relatives and help them out financially.0
