I have just come home from a session of Reiki - very emotional and draining. She talked alot about my Mum being there and being happy and out of pain etc but I am a bit sceptical. The thing is you want to believe it but because I know she has said similar things to my friend who has also lost her Mum, I don't know whther it is true or not.

I couldn't say for Reiki as I've never practiced it but I know that for the healing organisation I belong to, passing on messages from spirit during a healing session is a HUGE no-no. Especially as it was upsetting you and if she'd have been paying proper attention to you, as she should have been, she'd have noticed and stopped. Also, we don't charge, ever. I couldn't comment as to whether that one healer was being unprofessional by the standards of their organisation, but they were certainly being unprofessional by my standards. I hope this experience hasn't put your off healing altogether and if you want me to find out if my organisation practices in your area, just ask me and I'll PM you Head Office's contact details.

Would agree with Kayleigh....I've done Reiki I and II and was never attuned to passing on messages. If she is doing that alongside Reiki she should have asked your permission first.
YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

really....it's not hard to understand :T

Thank you. :) Things have slipped a bit with regards to the overdraft lately and I'm not sure how fast they'll recover at the moment, but the overdraft's 0% atm so I'm not too worried right now.

Just emailed a full and final offer. They phoned me yesterday but wouldn't accept what I offered (20%), so I've gone up to 25%. If they don't accept that I'll make one last offer of 30% and that'll be it, I'll just have to make token payments till they pass it on and I start again with someone new. Hopefully they will accept though.

I'm having a money dilemma and need some help!

My brother had a £500 insurance cheque for his TV and has bought the TV on my mum's credit card - the cheque has cleared so I need to pay the money off the card. He also borrowed £580 for rent and council tax as his wages were short and he had a few other bills to pay.
However, he's spent the £580 on cash withdrawals, meals out and clothes - all in two days. So his rent has gone out and it's taken him into his (new) arranged overdraft.

Should I cancel the TV and use that £500 to pay the £580 back to my mum? Or leave it until my parents get back from their holiday? I just feel horrible leaving them something this rubbish to come back to, but the poop will hit the fan either way - either my brother will kick off because he isn't getting his TV or my parents will at him for being irresponsible again.

    Help!
