  • Rats! forgot to take my book in the bath - that'll teach me to pack it! :o
Hope you feel more settled soon Tenmah - don't be 'afraid' to grieve. It's a process which will work out in time and you will feel better but only in your own time and space. Think of the good things you shared and take comfort in her peace now.

That sounds rubbish and condescending but it's not meant that way. Good job I understand meself.

You could always take it out to test the wipers Ames!
When can yoy get some more beads Claire? Have you promised them by a certain date?
I'm going to go soak in the bath - it feels like winter here. Plus I need to shave my legs and it's easier than in a shower. :)Hotel tomorrow has a pool and saunas. :D

I tested the wipers when I got it. It took me a while to realise it was just rain and not hail, cos the car's silver and made the raindrops look white!
hmmmmmm..... i think you need to go and get a car air fresherner thingy, Ames!! To hang from the mirror!!

Not until the nice 'new car' smell's gone! I'm going to go to Dunelm Mill tomorrow for a few bits, since the boot's enormous. I've found my purple and teal cushions, they were there. No doubt I'll come away with all kinds of extra crap though!

Tenmah, I'm not too sure how to put this delicately, but I think you're being taken for a ride. This woman is obviously very good at realising what buttons to push, especially if your friend mentioned to her that you want to hear from your mum. Talking about your daughter after she'd seen her also rings loud alarm bells, apart from that she's betraying confidences she's making you feel terrible about things, and I'm sorry but it sounds like she's just reeling you in as a long term paying customer.

I'm really sorry to be so blunt but I really don't want you getting hurt and taken advantage of.

I think tenmah that either the reiki or the spiritual would have been ok for a first visit.
    Certainly not both.
A lot of people find their first reiki treatment to be an emotional experience in its self far less together with something else.
Not your fault at all of course but the lady offering the treatments shold have known better.

I have my excuse  My mum's had pneumonia for the last few weeks and she's really wanted a tin of Cadbury's Heroes, since I'm seeing her on Sunday I've said I'll get her a tin. There's a couple of other bits I could do with too, so I'll nip out in a bit for them.

I got a tin of Roses for Christmas, they are still £5 in Mr T's along with the Heros, Quality Street and Choc Orange segments.

    Hi y'all...

Have had one last mad day of the week. Have been to Warwick (the long way) taken OH to a meeting and potentially got him a contract on our doorstep and then spent the afternoon discussing time management!!!!

As I have worked 65 hours this week, it was quite apt! It has also put a few things into perspective.

So next week I hope I won't have to run round quite so madly.

I am thinking of doing a charity place for the London Marathon so I can go round with Spud - u - like!
