I need to get to bed before I turn into the pumkin I am coveting! So I haven't had the chance to catch up with the weekend's shenanigans. I hope every-one is well and chasing those NSDs.
Can I declare number 9 for today. I was caught out be an impromptu phone call inviting me to the most delicious ice-cream palour. I am weak and I succumbed to tea and cake with a (massive) dollop of ice-cream. (There was so much cake, I got a doggy bag, gave the rest of the cake to a friend I was visiting and still have the chocolate "cup" that was surrounding the cake, so I should be ok for a while on the treat front!)Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

Thanks Spoon, and everyone else...the wool is Sirdar Crofter Double Knitting (Bracken)...got it from Black Sheep Wools. Took less than 1.5 balls to make, so have enough for another pair...guess what everyone is getting for Christmas (that and hats/gloves/mittens!!)
Thanks Keiss, just had a look.... it's definitely going on my list - some lovely combinations of colours available :j:jThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Hi lovely NSD gang :A
Hope you’ve all had a good weekend and managed to get some sunshine. The front page is awash with NSDs now and targets are starting to fall... well done everyone:j
A very warm welcome to all our newbies signing up this month, new people are always welcome to join, we’re a a very friendly, if slightly insane, bunch and a surreal sense of humour definitely helps. We are, however, very serious in our aim to cut down on our spending and are happy to give advice/tips/hints so please ask if you’re not sure about anything. Everyone seems to have more success if they post regularly on here and join in the chat - not sure why, but it seems to work, so please feel free to join in:D
So welcome and good luck to:
thrifty fifty: :hello: hi and welcome, of course you can join in the fun, it’s good to have you on board. Signing you up for 10 now, good luck. Keep posting, we’ll give you loads of encouragement to help you get back on the wagon and feel free to join in with the chat and general lunacy.

:)Good morning everyone,
Made it # 14 yesterday! Lunch out was really nice, although the food wasnt that great, but that was secondary to the company! We had a good laugh and my niece was pleased with her pressies. Cant believe that's her 18, feel very old!
Wont manage a NSD today- I have really boring things to buy:(
I need to get a new filter for my Vax as I accidentally threw it out when I was emptying it:mad: Its reasonably new and I didnt realise you're meant to remove it before emptying, so thats £19.99 for a new one.:o
Then I'm off to screwfix to get a security lamp for the front of the house. We were woken up on Sat by the doglet barking his head off, OH reckons some may have been snooping around, so Im getting one of those PIR ones to cover the front door. That will be @ £20, but worth it.
I also need some single cream for the quiche I'm making for dinner ( bacon and leek)
So, not very exciting spends, but necessary.
Cheryl - well done on the race:T and your time was great considering the probs you've had with your leg. Hope now you'll be able to get it sorted.
Spoon - apologies for the apple jokes:rotfl:I think Zummerzet is the only place to be for Apple Day - I'm in!
BMF - what? You ramble? Not at all - you make perfect sense to me here in the parallel universe:rotfl: Keep rambling, I enjoy reading about what you're up to!;)
Have a lovely day everyone:)
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0
