  • Hi all!! Just checking in! :) No NSDs to report :( Had a pretty low spend w/e though which is good!!! Mainly just groceries! And my friend was home for the weekend so we went out for food which was well worth it!! I've been a grump lately so I felt it was justified!!!

Congrats to everyone on their NSDs!!! xx
    Just keep swimming
  • Hi everyone. I have officially reached halfway - I'm at number 5 now!

    Hooray!!!:j
Saturday surprised me since it was an accidental NSD. I went on the motorbike free ride and it was good. I wasn't great at turning right but there was only me and another man with the instructor, and it was on private land.
Then I went to my friend's house and he got our dinner and wine and a lot of chocolatey desserts on his card and I paid my half back today.

    :D

well, i have been on course for a NSD but I've just stumbled across a sale on the Secret Sales site that has Banksy canvas' - am considering one for my brothers Xmas but am not really sure if he'll like it. The one I really like is only available as a large picture and I'm not sure if the other one I'm looking at that is available in a small size is just 'the best of the rest'. Sale only on until midnight - argh!!!

  • Ok - last four pages read.

    Keiss - Love the socks
Donna - sorry about the heating
Cheryl - your posts make me tired just reading them. I love how organised you are.
Nargle - I've been told to wear weights when I train now so my punches are stronger. Did this Friday and I can hardly raise them up to my shoulders tonight. I was only wearing 1.5lb weights as well. What a lightweight.:o But then after 200+ uppercuts and stomach punches you don't half feel them........and grazed knuckles as we weren't wearing gloves on the pads. And the best bit...........our sensei is a FEMALE 4th Dan, weighs 9st, 5ft 5 and is an ex-AMA England team member! Proves you don't have to be built like the proverbial outhouse. Whoops, I do like to go on don't I?

Anyway, I've two more NSDs to add so that's NSD 9 today.

    Later days :D

Wasn't actually that organised this morning :rotfl:

Woke up long before my 7am alarm - not sure how long before, but gave up trying to stay cosy in bed and got up just before 6:45

So that meant breakfast 1 a bit early, and while I was making that I put on a washload that should have been done yesterday.

By the time I headed out with the dog (15 mins later than planned!) I'd pegged up that washload, and bunged the second one into the machine - only to get back from walking the mutt to find I'd forgotten to actually set it going :o Put it on then, but there was no way I could wait for it to finish and peg it up before leaving.

Had second breakfast, finished sorting lunch (which I ended up eating after I got home, so I needn't have bothered ;)), packed bag, pulled stuff back out to get to stuff I needed as soon as I arrived at the race venue (and which was at the bottom of my backpack), repacked bag, and locked the house up at 9:10

I then had to wait another 5 mins for my front windscreen to de-mist.... so 15 mins early up (and fully awake then, rather than still drowsy) and 15 mins late leaving

*** makes mental note to self to allow more time for getting ready for next race ***
    Cheryl
