I couldn't get on to any of my bit of poota yesterday  & boy! Did I miss you lot :(.....aahhhh..no! :rotfl:KIDDING!! Course I did!

Weds was my No 5 & yesterday I tracked down my elusive curtain hooks :j & bonus! At a really good price AND the right colour too :T As my bag was very close to spilling the contents of at least one of the pockets I also bought a new handbag  Whoever said tee-kay m4xx is cheap has a very different set of criteria than I have _pale_ Walked in, saw my ideal bag & the price was.......£63:99  so much searching thru the racks later I found one that was still more than I'd really wanted to spend but under twenty quid. Really weird thing was, there were absolutely loads of other women looking for a bag too that I wondered if it were National New Bag Day or summat :D

I'm not sure I can join in with the Free Thinking Day--it 'taxes' my brain too much :p

I love her!! Thanks so much:A (she looks like she knits better than me:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

Well she's had lots of practice, jinty, loads of free wool:rotfl::rotfl:She's going on the front page as well with a special mention for you:D
Just call me Tete! :D And while we're on the subject .. where does 'Spoon' come from? Dare I ask?

Ahh, thanks Tete, that's much easier to type:D

"Spoon"... well that goes back to when I first started posting on the NTN (notice to newcomers thread) last year. Numpty Monkey said he always looked at my name and saw "solventspoon", so started calling me "spoon" and it's kind of stuck.... anyway it's a lot quicker and easier to type than the original:D.

    Hope that explains
    spoon x

And a big hello to the rest of the gang:A

Back later for a roundup and update on the front page:D

Hmm - am out for a meal tomorrow night - ok, DH will pay, but it's still countable, I suppose... and Sunday = the Observer... ah well, roll on next week for another NSD opportunity!! :D

My 1st NSD for October...Long overdue.. at one point I wasn't sure it was ever going to happen...:o

And I have managed to completely pay off a 3rd debt.. not that it is related to the NSD challenge but I just wanted to tell someone, if that makes sense. None of my family/friends know about my huge debt.
