Number 4 today, had a little go at trying to put the skirting boards in today even though i didn't really feel up to it. Definitely not one of my better DIY efforts  & wiped me out so i spent most of the afternoon asleep.
Must do nothing tomorrow as i promised i would try to be well enough for my friends birthday on Saturday & i have already promised she can stay here before her big night out. Think i will have to arm her with a key & then i can pop out for a quick soft drink before leaving her to it, really don't think i'll be up to much else.
:mad::mad: to the fact that i spoke to a work friend not long ago to find out that our manager is leaving (she's not brilliant, but a fairly nice woman & pretty fair) & being replaced by a guy that has a HUGE problem with me after i asked him what he termed "difficult questions" during a training course (excuse me for thinking that training was designed to learn something new!!). Think that might make work fairly impossible, so just spent the last hour looking for jobs to apply for & there is only one that's even close to being suitablewonder if i can get a transfer?????
Tixy - well done for the refunds, thats mega willpower!!!February NSD challenge 5/150 -
Right, time to catch up with my NSDs. I had already reported No 1 for Saturday
NSD NUMBER 2 - Sunday - I didn't manage to get my fruit at the car boot as normal as I got back down there too late and they had already packed up  - so my normal spend day became a NSD :j
Renewed my pre-payment on my slimming class fee on Monday, so, as this was a spend day, we popped to Mr A after class for some yoghurts which are on offer (and a bottle of whisky for our treat that night - not the whole bottle I hasten to add - we had 3 measures each
NSD NUMBER 3 - Tuesday - nothing spent, even though we did go out :j
NSD NUMBER 4 - Wedesday - at auction in morning and car boot to offload in afternoon, so nothing spent other than carboot money
Thursday's are normally NSD's but Mr 3Dogs popped down to storage unit to sort some things out and called at Al*i on his way back for much needed apples, bananas and a melon as we had run out of fruit which is an emergency for us
Mr 3Dogs is doing his car boot tomorrow from 7 am but I have to pop home about 9 am as I have appointment at vets at 9.50 am. Eldest doggie Bonnie had a skin problem about a month ago and it cleared with cream from vets but it has come back and is now worst, moving from her feet up her legs so it needs looked at again. This won't be a spend as she is covered under PDSA PetAid, but I will be doing my food shop tomorrow, so it will be a spend day anyway. Next NSD should be on Saturday so will be back then to reportMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

evening all, i'm rather late again! logging off now for a read...
managed NSD no5 today! i'm on a roll this month......
night all spoony don't work too hard, hope all is well with you xxx0 -
Spoon - Ochi Day is when Greece refused to allow the Axis (Germany/Italy) army to cross their borders after their request to do so and thus when they came into WWII - Ochi actually means NO which is very appropriate for NO Spend Days !!And I thought that Freethought Day was when you couldn't say Penny for your Thoughts as all thoughts were free

Good morning everyone!
Delighted and thrilled to report NSD #6 ! First time ever Ive managed 6 in a row! I tell you that was quite a challenge but interesting to note the amount of times I had to suppress the urge to buy - not as many as I had anticipated.
I've introduced a jar system - one for window cleaner/ bin cleaner, one for bus fares and one for small emergencies like milk. Once a wee( on a spend day) I put the appropriate amount in and that helps me not to keep plundering my purse!
Anyhoo today IS a spend day, need groceries - for the the first time in a long time I have run out of stuff - butter, dog biscuits, biscuits so a reasonably big shop needed, but I'll be sticking to my budget.
I also need bird food and a couple of bits for my shoebox. Im doing one for a young girl of 4. So far I've got knitted hat, scarf and mitts, colouring book & crayons, soap and wipes, toothbrush& paste, sweets and a knitted teddy. Just need to get some cosy tights and some vests and I'll be done.;)
Sold 2 of my 3 items on Amazon, so Im chuffed with that plus I've got a Mystery Shop to do today ( I could end up money neutral today:rotfl:)
Thanks Spoon for the motivation - you really kept me on track!:A
Have a lovely day everyone:)
