  • Thanks all for the sympathy about my finger. Doesn't hurt much now, although still looks pretty unattractive!!!

Lovely night night even though we lost pretty badly in the football, nice to catch up with my old chaps & only spent £5.10 all night, wahey!! :j

Think i m ight bring Billy Connolly to the ceilidh, am thinking he's scottish & he's funny so when people laugh it will be at him & not my dancing!!! :rotfl:

Right bed now, first full week at work in nearly a month, i need my sleep as i think it's going to be a killer!!!

Lost a NSD for no good reason today - grrrr!! Went to look at my brother's wedding reception venue with my mum, and had to pay for parking, grrr!! So as I'd already lost my NSD I went and got a few bits for packed lunches and stuff.

Feeling a bit disheartened about the debtbusting at the minute, only lowered the debt by £111 this month. No overtime hasn't helped, the free time has been lovely but not as lovely as my usual big fat overtime cheque at the end of the month. Also took my eye off the ball a bit and have ended up with 2 late payment charges, no-one's fault but my own. To be honest I can't wait until January - got a weekend away, another hen night, my 2 brothers weddings and Christmas to get through first! Need to stop staring at my snowball calculator, there is nowhere else I can cut back so just going to have to resign myself to not lowering the debt until next year.

Anyway, enough feeling sorry for myself!! We've got a night with all those lovely scotsmen to look forwards to :)

Glad you've had a good night BDINI :)

Well done to everyone smashing their targets, and hugs to anyone who needs one xx

Just had a quick tot-up of my NSD's before heading to bed (should have been there aaaages ago, but remembered an hour ago I still had to iron my uniforms for the rest of the week, so made myself a brew as well)

    Yesterday was NSD #16
Today was NSD #17 - so target met at last :T

Not sure about setting a second target, or whether to just aim for the 'target exceeded' now. 6 days left in the month, but I expect the next 3 to all be spend days thanks to D/Debits!!!! Will think about my target while I watch those go out, and report back if I want to raise it :)

As an extra note for those of you who were concerned about my delaying a 'certain purchase' by 3 days to get the brand I wanted - this evening I've finally finished every sheet of my 'old' stock, so am going to put a nice new full one in place on each of my three holders before I turn in ;)

Are you sure Captain Jack is Scottish? Not that I'm complaining about doing a few turns with him on the dancefloor ;) (so long as he doesn't turn up in the Face of Bo stage) sounds like The Doctor will be very busy though :rotfl:

Yes, John Barrowman is DEF Scottish - he was born in Glasgow and his family emigrated to the States when he was quite young. ( I read his autobiography) Although he speaks with an American accent on telly etc, when he is with his family he speaks with a Scottish accent,so he can legitimately come to our ceilidh! :T

Cheryl, thank goodness for that - you made it without any disasters!;) Hope it's warmer in the bakery today for you:)

    Good morning everyone!

Back to work for me today, although my skin is still a bit sore. Going to doc tomorrow to try and get referred to the dermatology dept ( again). I think I need heavier duty treatment than the the GP can provide.
Aiming to make today an NSD as that would take me to my 2nd target.

    Have a lovely day everyone:)
