I'm very dissappointed that all the nicest Scottish men are taken tongue0026.gif
Could I request Brian Limond please happy0158.gif - sorry Brian but David Tennant would deff have been my first choice!! May have to cut in for a dance Spoony love0031.gif on a slightly unrelated topic - have I mentioned I am off to see John Barrowman in panto in December party0053.gif

Anyways......................back on topic. Today will be NSD number 14!! Its a frosty day here today and completely beautiful but I am loaded with cold so have decided to spend the day at home pottering round and having a wee rest in between each job. Was supposed to be meeting a friend for a coffee but, as she is due her first baby this time next week, I decided to cancel. I do not want to be responsible for giving her a nasty bug this close to D Day anim_59.gif. DS is at nursery today so I have taken him up and will be collecting him later ( they have some sort of rule about this winking0011.gif) and other than that I will be in the comfort [STRIKE]and warmth[/STRIKE] of my home

Before I forget, I have at last, managed to nail No 14. It's taken a while but I'm used to being the tortoise in the race..
The 'extra' spendies have been low key thank goodness so not all bad, but I'm blummin  at the Blue & Yellow Palace as they've stopped selling the type of mug I like having for my cuppa :( Can't find one anywhere else & have even looked on the manufacturers web-site to no avail

Hope Poorly Peeps feel better soon & can I book the oooh-ooooohh-sevenly Mr Connery for next month please? I'm looking forward to having a fiddle with all his secret gadgets ;)

Oh we're getting all hot and bothered with the thought of all those Scottish hotties!:rotfl::rotfl: JB will be brilliant in the panto, I'm very jealous but I'm going to see him in concert next Tues in Edinburgh so that will be rather good!
Sorry, off topic there, but sometimes a little diversion is needed!;)

Popped into M&S for some nice chocs and a card for my Aunt and also fruit sherbets and wine gums as their ones are the tops:)!
From there to the PO where I bought a very exciting ball of string. It's for tying the paper round the tin when I bake my Christmas cake on Sat.
Total spend £7.26, not worried as it's a gift.

    Laters :A

    Hya all...nippy today innit!!!

Today was supposed to be a spendy day, but as I am still feeling c**p, I'm going nowhere!! So NSD no 14 spoon please!!!

Been to the docs this morning, so I am now on my second lot of steroids and antibiotics...here's hoping they will do the trick.

I am coming to the conclusion I will have to cancel/postpone my trip up to see my dad in Scotland this weekend. :( The flight would have been bad enough, though with DH taking me to the airport, would have helped. It is the 120 mile bus journey at the other end that would probably have done for me :eek:. Been investigating how to change my flight...seems fairly straightforward with E*J*, but will cost me £30 to do so...will also have to sort out my travel insurance as well....will talk it over with DH this evening...head still fuzzy atm. :o

Going to have to sit down in the comfy chair again...head reeling, this sinusitis is a real pain...not to mention the asthma . Wish I could wear my glasses for a decent length of time...want to get some sewing done...but very hard atm!! Still, getting a fair number of Christmas pressies knitted :D.

Good luck with Wednesday Peaches...I was induced with both my boys and remember it all as if it was yesterday. DS2 is 18 next Feb .

Thanks again for all your kind wishes...and (((((hugs))))) to all who need them today (whether you are ill, down or just cold!!!)
