I have given up all hope of getting them now. I have told my OH not to drink any more Bailey's.
    To Dare is To Do:beer:
  • Well I have sent them a message on their "contact us" page telling them that they are sending out defective products, I have kept the glass incase they want it back for their own inspection, but as far as I am concerned I've done my bit now, and if it happens again to anyone else Baileys have been warned!
I suspect they will fob it off and blame the post but as I said, we had used the glasses on a daily basis prior to the incident so any damage would have been obvious on the first use, and it was such an odd thing to happen that the bottom just fell off LOL poor OH got quite a shock, Not something he was expecting when he had just got out of bed lol (Luckily he was wearing his shorts or I dread to think of the consequences) !!!!

Hope everyone had a fab Christmas, and all the best for new year xx
  • i received my glasses week before christmas - will take care when using them after reading the warning. still waiting for the frother which ordered a long tme b4 glasses
  • I got my glasses, made irish coffee in them, and one of them cracked whilst it was still on the worktop. I made it with fresh coffee, so it wasn't boiling either! So, they are definitely dodgy! I do feel a bit sorry for Baileys though, as we did hammer them with requests.

I had EXACTLY the same experience as dingdongmerrily - the bottom came off and it was also a clean break. Luckily my DH escaped injury, but someone could have been hurt, especially if I think my DD could have been standing nearby. I haven't complained yet but be warned, these glasses seem to be rubbish.

I have used mine once and so far so good.

If these are dangerous then you should complain as it may be a particular batch that are faulty.

Plus it may recall them and save someone really getting hurt.

Despite 3 emails I still haven't got mine or even a response to say when I will get them - but it does sound like i might have had a lucky escape.

There must be a phone number somewhere that we can ring?
