If I were you I'd thank my lucky stars not to have received them! I made a cup of coffee in one of them this afternoon for my partner and the bottom fell off as he was drinking from it and scalded his legs (and more importantly went all over my new carpet GRRRR)!
They are moulded glass so Im noot sure how it happened but the base has just fallen away from the rest of the glass (a clean break) but I am v annoyed as there was no warning (no cracks or obvious defects until it happened) I am so glad that I wasn't using it at the time, don't fancy having burnt blistered legs over Christmas! BAH!0 -

Can't believe it! Hope your partner is okXX.........I would seriously consider seeking legal advice???
***KEEP THE GLASSES AS EVIDENCE!!!!****
***GET YOUR PARTNER TO VISIT THE HOSPITAL/DOCTOR****
**TAKE PHOTOS OF HIS BURNS AND DAMAGE TO YOUR CARPET****
Sounds like you could get compensation - I'm sure there are legal professionals on this site who could advise further???0 -

To be honest as they were free I'd feel a right cad taking legal measures, but I will photograph the glass and email Baileys to warn them that they may be sending unsuspecting customers defective products,
as I said there was no sign of damage before use so I can only assume that the glass may have been defective. The glasses have both been used daily before now so there was definitely no cracks etc during postage as it would have been apparrant before now, and I hand wash all glasses and mugs so I know I haven't damaged it, oh well just one of those things.
BTW my partners leg is fine just very red LOL luckily I put a lot of cream in his coffee or else it may have been much worse, also the stain came out of the carpet easily enough xx0
