No offence to anyone but doesnt this sound a tad OTT???? I mean out of the hundreds of freebies i have sent off for alot have never turned up but i am not gonna email every bloomin company demanding they send me my freebie or else its just silly. Plus i thought it was an idea to wait until after the closing date???? least then baileys will know just how many thousand latte glasses to send out with a frother too.:D

Ok emailed them too - there was me hoping for a freebie christmas present - fat chance now I suppose!!

So, we might be able to get the mugs in the pound shop, so the frother might be a poxy bit of metal that gets lost in the cutlery draw, so we took the time and effort at our cost to apply for them in the first place - all the 'OTT' behaviour is not about the fact that the mugs have not arrived, it's the principle of it - yes, ppl send off for freebies day in day out, but those are not guaranteed. When you have to pay for 2 text messages, and you get a Congratulations text back, you expect to receive the good as it isnt then lucky dip - you have been told you will have them. Sorry, I do not think anyone is being over the top, I certainly don't see why the thread should be locked - it's here for ppl to put if they have not recd their mugs for - so why lock it? A new one would only be started straight away anyway.

What you are saying about Baileys is absoloutely correct but don't you agree that some folk need to calm down a bit?
At the end of the day people will either get them or not. I personally just can't understand why some people are becoming so overwrought about something like this.

I dont' think there is the need to calm down no, because I don't see anybody up in ruptures about it - just simply saying they've not got the mugs and the suggestion of mailing them - which will have an impact on Baileys and perhaps next time they do a promotion, there won't be a need for a post here if you didn't receive it thread as they will be more on the ball and the goods will be sent to those that won them.
