    Hi all

very unhappy with this service - I emailed them on 20th December to say don't bother posting and asked for a refund. They said that the goods had been posted and were 'well on their way'.
I emailed again on 2nd january as I had still not received it. I have cut and pasted their reply below - I will be very interested to see what date it was posted when (if) it arrives!

"We have been in contact with the Royal Mail who have apologised for any delays, but they are aware of the problems that have occurred as a result. The items have been posted, and in the postal system. They have told us that if an order has not been received by the 17th January, that this is a serious issue and they have agreed we can put in a claim in with them and then we will be able to refund you in full without having the items returned back to our warehouse.

If you do get it within this time and no longer require them, if you do not open it you can return it to us free of charge and as soon as we get this back we will of course do the refund for you."

Oh well - hopefully it won't arrive and i can get a refund!!

Won't be using them again though :(
  • Update a lovely customer services lady called Linda has been in contact with me today as they are having trouble refunding due to card issues and has promised to refund my card or by cheque today. She was really apologetic on the phone for the problems and stated that they never normally have problems like this, she stated they returned after the christmas break to 800 emails and almost as many telephone messages. They believe they fufilled all the orders before the 18th December and are laying the issue very much at Royal Mails door, they are after the 17th January going to be placing a very large insurance claim against royal mail. She also stated that they are virtually upto date with the backlog of emails and calls. I decided to post this information on forum in case anyone still needs to contact them about non arrival of products as they are definately refunding people who get in touch.
Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:

They've not fulfilled my order from 4th December :( Spoke to someone at customer services who said that they'd not sent any Peppa pig crackers out because they only got them after christmas, and she was suprised the rest of my order hadn;t arrived. When I asked her why, if they knew they weren;t sending the crackers out, I hadn;t been refunded - she said she didn;t have any info. I was told my order must have been held up by Royal mail and to wait a week or so.

Sounded very much like bluffing as she used a lot of umms and ahhs. I'll give it a week as she asked though, then get back in touch....
  • I also spoke with Linda, very friendly and apologetic. Got my refund without any question after having not received my 2 goody packs. Mind you, quite glad I didn't receive them in the end after the reports on here. Many of the items could have been purchased in Pound shops for far less than £20!
