Just read this thread after booking a ticket with Virgin trains (£37).
Rang them up to cancel and they said I would be charged £37 for cancelling:mad:
Only £18.50 through ScotRail, gutted!

Thankyou, just booked through this link for our trip up to the HOXTON (£1 deal) saved a fortune. would have cost us £89.20 return, cost £44.60 for 2 of us, all in all a very cheap weekend..hehe gives me more to spend shopping!

Just a quick reminder for those that did this last time. Although it doesn't allow railcard discounts throught this link, if you go to www.firstscotrail.co.uk out the tickets you want in your basket, then book another random ticket through the link (then delete it) the discount should be taken off the railcard discounted ticket at the final stage.

This appears to be massive as it allows you to book Travelcards for peak business travel and still get the discount!Can I help?0
