Need to be careful about comparing like for like but the L&G UK index tracker has anual charge .4% and ter .55%. The equivalent virgin ftse all share tracker has an annual management fee of 1%.
Don't know about the climate change ISA - it's run by GLG so you might be paying for a managed fund in which case it might not be too bad (but Virgin has historically been expensive for most of it's financial products so I doubt it).

You also have the problem that you are restricted to a few funds. With something like h-l you can choose from hundreds. Might not be an issue now but might be when you want to diversify.

For the tracker performance shouldn't be much of an issue as they just track the index (how they carry out the tracking can introduce error though) - main difference should be due to charges.

oh dear. That is pretty much one of the worst you can buy. (most Virgin financial products are poor quality and expensive).

X-O & RBS (TDW) charge £50+VAT to transfer OUT.
HL does not say but at month end offer £250 cash to transfer in.

Sorry to say but Virgin is one of the worst choices going. The alternative UK All Share Index fund at HL is the one from HSBC and it has an annual charge of 0.25%.
