Any free transfers from a Maxi ISA to an Investment ISA?

Options
Hi there.
As a good saver I used to open a new maxi ISA every year from 2001.
However there is SOOOO much paperwork asscociated, so I wanted to transfer all the Maxi ISAs into one Investment ISA.

I chose the Post Office Investment ISA.

However they just told me:

1. Cash ISA - free so......:T

2. Maxi / Investnment ISA - 2.5% initial fee, 1.5% annual fee.
I could handle the annual fee but not happy about the initial fee sooo

So does anyone know of any investment ISAs which dont charge on tranferring in

Cheers

Most of them have no charges on transfer nowadays.

That sort of research data costs money. its not the sort of thing given away for free.

    Same applies.

If you are looking at DIY and utilising unit trusts/oeics then take a look at Hargreaves Lansdown.

Hargreaves Lansdown frequently offer to pay me to move some of my other investments to them. If you choose the right provider and carry out the transfer in the right way then you might even make some money from the deal.

Don't let transfer offers guide you though: (rebates of) charges (initial and annual) and fund choice are both more important.

Hargreaves Lansdown are popular and not expensive for unit trusts in a S&S ISA. They are an excellent first choice for someone who's unsure where to go and not considering direct buying and selling of shares.

    charges or poor performance?

charges seem the usual 1-1.75% (1.75% for the climate ISA which i would agree is higher than the norm)
