Hey guys well was a nice time in town with my daughter we really bonded today. Been making a fairy toadstool house box with her will post pictures as soon as it is done. Just have to find something for the door.

Found something nice to go on my daughters birthday card really cute and sparkly. Also found some nice material in Boyes that I have to decide to do with as I have no idea.

Penpop cause I am part time I get in work credit for the first year I think, need to check that. I also get working ta credits, plus my usual child tax credits and child benefit. I will only get so much paid towards housing and council tax benefit so the rest is down to me to pay. For the first month of me working I have been better off but now the first month is over I have rent and council tax to pay. The bus card is also going to increase in price in January so at the moment do not have to worry about this yet still will be £75 a month. I just have to learn to budget and I should be ok, I know I can get through this its just hard when you have to keep fighting all the time.

Going to get making some cards tonight I am finding crafting relaxing, although when I am painting with acrylics it is giving me a head ache.

have you cut it up (sorry probably a bit of a stupid question). you need some sort of adhesive, or eazymount for it to stick to a stamping block. I use the purple crafters companion spray 'stick and spray' which is a repositional adhesive. if using regular stamping blocks as apposed to rockablocks its easier to use eazimount as it gives it cushioning.

so long as it's not too big I use good old glue stick :D although I do have e z mount for my bestest ones ;) - you can get seconds off eBay but I can't remember who the seller is sorry

that buggy thing was ewwwwwwwwwwwww and should be squishyed lol!

hugs everyone - have just had a "small" delivery of promarkers and need to sort my colour chart out - I also need to get some small round stickers so I can colour them and stick them on the ends as I have recycled some storage (ok I outgrew the last one) plus I'm stitching at the mo.
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

    Advice needed!!

Aldi sent me an email with their Thursday specials today...included is a mini sewing machine for £14.99. Is it worth it? I love cards where someone has taken the time to sew around the outside and think it would make mine look so professional.

    Worth the pennies??
