    Advice needed!!

Aldi sent me an email with their Thursday specials today...included is a mini sewing machine for £14.99. Is it worth it? I love cards where someone has taken the time to sew around the outside and think it would make mine look so professional.

    Worth the pennies??

For £14.99 is it worth NOT buying it :)

I had a smaller sewing machine and to be honest it was not worth it. Mine broke after awhile and I was glad when my dad bought me a new one cause its a normal one and works lovely.

    ZLS you're braver than I am :D

For all of you very talented bunch that sell your creations, please tell your customers that the items you make for them are OOAK (one of a kind). I make batch cards every month as you know but there's always a difference in each one except when I've made them digitally.

A decent card in the card shop always seems to be over £3 and the super market one are not much less.

You're worth more than a quid, PepPop!

Padster, I've card for the challenge that I'll post tomorrow, I'll try and catch some daylight tomorrow and let you know when it's on the glob.

FF It doesn't say if it does zig-zag stitch which is what most of the cards I've seen have on them. Looks OK though.

Aw PepPop, take no noticed, the person was being tight, handmade means it's taken you time and effort and used quality materials, that all costs money. Don't let it get you down x

FF, I got a mini sewing machine for my birthday as I was desperate to have a go stitching round my cards but the machine is still pristine in it's box somewhere in my garage. My birthday was at the end of November, oops :o I will get round to having a go sometime, honest ;)

Been thinking about storage for DS1's bedroom today, his Lego collection is completely out of control. I feel a trip to Ikea is needed ;)

My challenge card is made although I'm pushing it saying Sheffield Wednesday players are capable of moving. Couldn't get blogger to play though so I've popped it on my FB page. Hope that's ok.

Rainmac, I'm off to Ikea tomorrow for some storage - not for lego though - for pretty crafty things!
