Ouch Rainmac your car sounds expensive! I hope you dont have to pay for it out of your [STRIKE]pay[/STRIKE] stash cheque lol. You could do with a discount voucher for the garage too. Enjoy your meal tonight, it might be the last food you get this month :rotfl:
Padster it sounds like fun and games at your house..not! I'm glad my DH can do a bit of DIY, he has just finished fitting us with a new alarm system mind you it did take nearly 2 weeks!! He now wants to fit a new outside door, but I'm slowly talking him in to having a plastic one and someone to fit it.
Georgie Congratulations on winning the challenge and for setting the new one.0 -

Flourgirl - OH is actually a qualified electrician but am sure he should really have been a supervisor as he needs a gopher before he'll even think about doing anything
You never know you might sell them a la BevI've sold a couple on there but I don't use any of them fat flowers so I can just post using a board backed envelope.
Am getting a bit bored going back wards and forwards to the post office and my house doesn't look any emptier  although have made a few pennies which I seem to have recycled into new stuff :rotfl::rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Rusty Sorry to hear you still aren't right, I hope the antibiotics dont give you the runs:eek: Take care xx
If you go to the colouring class you can come and visit me for the weekend and show me how to do it!! Ask lei armstrong first, I'm pretty sure she went to the one in Kent, that was very very spensive!
I'm just sat making boxes for the pile of cards on my craftroom windowsill and its really boring. Was thinking about having a go selling them on ebay but dont yet have a selling account. Knowing my luck I will get less than they cost to make:( one problem is how to package them for the post, postal boxes on line are pants, you have to buy about 100 at a time :mad: Really I would just like rid for what they cost to make.
Dragonllew I was sorry to hear about your SIL, cyber hugs for you all (((((xx))))))
I gave up trying to sell my cards, I have my personalised stamp and stamp that on the back and also add in a mini moo business card with my details on and if it is for an order then I place one of the business cards into the cello bag. what sort of boxes are you making? just ones to post them? I wonder if it would be worth doing a group buy on boxes and split them? obviously the more you buy the cheaper they are but could maybe split them into a group? alternatively look at something like the CD mailers but ones to fit the cards.
Padster, your OH sounds like mine ... I am waiting for loads of stuff to be done and it never gets done, I recently hired a gardener for the jungle, they did a fab job in 7 hours :rotfl: has taken OH over 3 years and he still never started it!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Hi there, I am not new to crafting, returning after break of couple of years. But would appreciate bit of help getting supplies etc, as the shops round me have mostly shut. And to my disgust so has Paper Mill!!! Where do you all get your card & paper from nowadays, the basic stuff for cards not backing papers or mirri, etc. I am down in s/e kent.
Have read through few of the earlier threads and seams to be a great thing you got here
Regards

Hi Zenman
There are plenty of websites selling crafty items, it depends on your budget etc. I like craftwork cards and create and craft. Unfortunately my bank balance probably doesn't agree quite so much!Life is like a box of chocolates..........you always seem to pick the hard ones!0 -
Hi Zenman, I love to use Craftworks Cards the back to basics cards which you can buy at The Glitterpot too and the postage is cheaper and very fast. There is also Crafty Emmas Store for fabulous papers and I also use Wild Orchid Crafts for flowers and lace and Crafty Ribbons for yep you guessed Ribbons
These are the online shops I use most, but there are loads. Just tell us what you are looking for and someone will tell you the best place to look. HTH
