Making cards - Ideas (part 5)

Hi, Not been on for ages, don't get chance lately so i haven't caught up but done some skim reading and hugs to all that need it.

Gemma and juile were both in my town at the weekend doing the same craft fair but i didn't get chance to have a stall or pop down to see them as we went away for the weekend. It would have been nice. I may come across them at other fairs though.

Took ds to hospital yesterday for his pre-op and he freaked out a bit when they showed him a little girl having the GA and going to sleep. Bless him once he has something in his head he can't let it go so all i keep hearing is i don't want a needle.

Can't decided what to ask for my birthday. People keep aking me but i just don't know. May be a mag subscription or craft vouchers lol

Whoo hoo - plumber has been - no idea how much it'll be coz office will send a bill - don't care OH will be paying it

cat was a nervous wreck with all the banging and strange men in her house - then to add insult to injury the window cleaner turned up this afternoon and she don't like him either - she's following me round the house like a mini sheep.

Need to get some stain stop or whatever its called then I can repaint the ceiling and the coving

Docrafts have an event this Saturday at the Range which is a bus ride from me, tempted to go but have no idea what it will be like lol. Last time I went to the range I missed the event but saw this little table stuck in between shelving full of toys lol.

the last Docraft even I went to at the range in bradford I asked the lady a question and she looked at me in absolute disguist as if we were just meant to sit quietly! Its bad for me going to the Range, I spend far too much!

It's worth the money I promise! I've got the 72 set of Prisma's but the main colours Bev recommends are Black, Light Umber, Cool Grey 70%, Tuscan Red, Olive Green, Warm Grey 70%, Dark Umber as these will cover pretty much everything x

Still, I've had a lovely crafty evening here in Fresian Towers - I've been playing with my new LOTV images and have made four lovely, if I do say so myself, cards. I'm looking forward to posting them all for you soon, I just need to find the time. Making cards is so much more fun than fighting with Blogger!

My access to blogger on my 'proper' PC was miraculously restored today:j:jI just tried it again and it worked! I can't fathom out why but am so glad I haven't had to dismantle it and take it to the shop. Seems like you were right Rusty although I haven't altered anything.

Morning everyone.....I'm new but can I join you?
I am really getting into the card making thanks to flourgirl who has really been encouraging me. Yesterday my Silhouette arrived and I have been having fun playing with it - some of the time ecstatic and some really frustrated. I am having problems trying to cut a scalloped square [ it came out with straight sides!!] and the very sticky carriers.
By the way just in case it helps anyone The Stamp Hut in Bury St Edmunds have promarkers at £1.69 each - I am just about to order some.

Hello everyone, it's been a while again since I posted, where does the time go .

Looks like there are some newbies - welcome to you all.

And a very general well done, congratulations and hugs where appropriate. I don't like doing that but there are so many pages I can't take it all in.

Again, I haven't made any cards, haven't blogged or kept up with others, and am generally a bad, bad crafter . I've only got a few cards left in my box so sometime soon I'll have to get my finger out again!

A lot of you know we got Poppy last year and she is a big part of our lives. It is her 1st birthday next Tuesday, can't believe how quickly the time has gone. Have to admit to preferring being out with her and OH more than doing much else at the moment. OH is suffering some uncomfortable side effects of the radiotherapy and his previous chemo and although he seems to be in remission at the moment things aren't brilliant for him - can make for some difficult days all round at times .

Rather than try and keep up and keep apologising for not being around, I'm going to take a bit of a back seat for the moment. I'll pop on from time to time to say hello and hopefully I'll get back in the mood for card making again and get back to blogging.

Am on antibiotics for my tooth have a gum infection if these don't work will have to have my tooth out, going for two visits to the dentist next week for a deep clean scale and polish so not looking forward to that at all, hopefully the pain will have gone by then.

Will try and catch up on here and blob land properly when I am pain free
