TomsMum - :wave: nice to see you here. I thinks we all have times when our priorities lie elsewhere and crafting and chatting about it have to take a bit of a back seat - we all understand - and will be glad to see you when you pop back. I'm amazed that Poppy is one already - how time flies - are you having a party? I love to read of her exploits on your blog. I do hope DH's symptoms ease - it's good that he's in remission but a shame he is still suffering.

Morning. Still no blogger for me Fab makes everyone, I will comment as soon as it will let me.

Marg thank you for the boxes offer, I have found a shop called love2papercraft and they sell boxes which are supposed to be suitable for posting and you can buy 5's. Its on hold just now until I have sussed out how to have a selling ebay account and the best way of listing stuff. I have been looking at the cards for sale and none have bid on so may not be worth the effort.

Rusty Congratulations on your new DT post xx Now do you believe how brill your cards are! lol I'm fancying some of those Prisma pencils myself, but just told DH we have to cut down drastically with the spending so might have to wait until he has forgotten what I said before I sneak some lol

Its raining here today, hope it fines up this afternoon as I have some plants to put in the garden. We have the horses back in the field next to our house and I'm hoping they keep the rabbits away cos they just munch everything, little s*ds!! DH has just gone to a funeral, another ex BT mate Ive been baking Alice Cakes again Marg and Rainmac ....yum!! The smell is driving me crackers, I'm starving. Family coming for dinner tonight, so roast chicken on the menu. Enough waffle, better go and do something crafty xx

Ooo thanks for reminding me about Alice cake flourgirl I might have a go at that later on. I made your scones a couple of weeks ago.:) They were yummy & vanished so quickly - I need to make more.
I'm not a good baker and they came out a little more like rock cakes in texture, ie not as soft as I expected which we liked - needed less jam! but can you suggest what I perhaps did wrong?

Hello TomsMom so lovely to hear from you, I can't believe Poppy is one already, are you making her a cake like the one they used to do on Blue Peter lol. Sorry to hear your DH isn't too good at the moment but hope things will pick up soon. Crafting can wait but feel free to pop in when you can, we are always here for you. Take Care xxx

Don't know Marg, Rusty said hers spread too much instead of rising. I just checked the recipe and its ok. I use 2 large eggs and just enough milk to make into a soft dough. I wonder if your oven is a little too hot.

sorry if I've missed anyone. I spent yesterday oooing and ahhhhing over create and craft. I WANT! the cricut expression 2. I refrained. Now I may be regretting it :rotfl:I've told other half I NEED a cricut expression by xmas but preferably before

Flourgirl. All this talk of cakes is making me hungry . My oh likes scones i think i'll give them a try was the recipie on your blog?. I'll have a look if blogger will let me but its more of a b*gger at the moment it won't let me in.

Lei and rusty. The colouring lessons sound fab but the price is rather scary then i'd want to buy all the pencils. oh err.

Twinkle i saw the cricut expression too i switched over quick then i wouldn't want to buy one but it was calling very loudly i heard it too.
