    Morning all!

Rusty - sorry to hear you had such a carp night and are still in pain - tooth pain is so nasty.

Rainmac - can't believe you've had problems getting paid - hope the application turns out well for you.

Choccy - well done Luke - you must be very proud. Still waiting for more people for my virtual party by the way!

Georgiegirl - enjoy your day and make sure you come back with far too much stash!

I've just blobbed the wedding invitation I made for my friend - the front looks a bit plain in the pic but it looks way better in real life! There is alos something of interest to any ribbon lovers on there!

Right - orders of service calling.....

I'm on orders of service duty at the moment too. Nearly there I think due to the lovely WIFEY who sent me some pearlised paper. Need a little something to go on the bottom of it but haven't worked out what yet.

Sorry to hear you are still in pain Rusty, hope it eases soon xx Keep meaning to ask you if you have seen Bunbun lately, i hope she is ok.

Glittermum lovely invites, I popped your ribbon giveaway on my blob last week and also did a bit of a post for you.

Rainmac I forgot to say good luck with the job application, they would be crazy not to have you with all your experience and what you do for free for them.

Soma I hope you have a great time at the craft show, dont forget to show us what you bought.

georgiegirl Let us know which bag you buy lol.

    Erm......

Well, I wasn't really in the mood to be out and about today - I had a phone call yesterday afternoon from work (got the week off) to tell me that the announcemnt about the decision to close our office is at 10.00am on Monday morning. The news about the proposal to close the office was leaked in October, followed by 90 days' consultation, which was extened by 2 months, then 2 months to consider the decision, so now, 7 months later we get the news on Monday. So hardly slept last night.

I went to the show hoping to come back with a light box. Which I did. Along with 3 embossing templates, a ball of wool and pattern for a shawl, a pattern and soles for slippers, a kit to make a sewing roll thing with russian dolls on, 3 books on hawaiian quilting (one of which has cross stitch patterns in as well), and 2 magazines (one of which is a bag special) and a subscription to said magazines, and the free offer with the subscription was 2 books about bag making. Oh and a kit to make a magic cube thing.

So yes, probably too much stuff

CPS - thank you for taking me on trust with my card.
I can get on on my laptop but the photo's of the card are on the main pc. If I get time before the deadline I'll try to send the photo to the laptop and try from there.

The computer shop think I have a virus on my main pc which is preventing me from getting onto blogger proper. It's going for treatment on Monday I hope you don't have that problem twinkle.

We've just got back from the hospital as MIL was admitted this afternoon with a chest infection & dehydration and at midnight she was seen by the doctor who suspects from the blood tests that she has had another heart attack so may be a busier weekend than we'd planned. We have DH's niece, her husband & two little ones coming to stay as well.:eek:

Sorry if I've not mentioned you my head's a bit scrambled.

Marg I do hope your MIL gets well soon and you get a decent nights rest. Sending some virtual hugs xx

I think my laptop might be on its way out, I keep needing to reload pages and sometimes it lets you onto sites and other times throws the blank page at me. Its due to get a sore head when I accidentally throw it at a wall

On a lighter note I made another card and the OH agreed to help me get the room ready next week for a crafty makeover! :D
