Hi everyone. This is my first time posting in here :) I just wanted you all to know my bargain of the day/week/month... lol... Wilkinsons have a sale on a lot of crafty things and I bought a Craft Caddy... was £8 now £4. Blank cards and envelopes down to £1.50. 18 Artists Pencils done to 75p and a pencil case for 50p.

I am going to attempt a few cards now. :)

Louby lou lou just a thought but could you put a note in the cake asking that person to contact you then you can ask for details of who gave them it and how much they paid. might be worth a try. Can't believe her cheek.

Louby thats so sad re your cousin it seems to be happening to more and more people hope they've got it wrong and can help him.

ZLS Good luck with the new job it sounds like you may enjoy it. I'm sure your gran wanted you to have the money or she wouldn't have given it to you. If you feel really bad you could always get a couple of little cakes and go and enjoy them with a cuppa with your gran.

Louby that's a good idea of craftygranny's about putting a flyer in especially where Mrs Sneakypants can't see it. If she challenges you afterwards I'm sure you can look very innocent and say you were advertising. So sorry to read about your cousin, I can sympathise but don't ever lose hope of a miracle. They do happen.

ZLS, what a lovely idea from your gran, enjoy a treat. Didn't you get a free packet of plasters with your craft knife? every makers should have to do it by law :D

Thanks for the fab help with the ticket die, as soon as it arrives I shall have a play.

    Tickets please!!! :D:D:D

    Welcome Tia Maria

Hugs, Rusty, for the sore toothy peg!

  • louby - so sorry to hear the news about your cousin and I can’t believe the cheek of that woman!
Zoe - good luck with your job, voluntary work can often lead to something permanent so fingers crossed
Rusty - gosh that was an eventful barbeque! What a shame you lost time together with your OH having to sort that mess out. Hope the toothaches settle soon.
Tia_Maria06 - hello and welcome - sounds like you got some great bargains.
Scatty & Marg - have added you to the challenge list. Marg - hopefully blogger will let you on soon.

Just wanted to say that I am planning to be around for the end of the challenge on Sunday evening - 10pm - but if I’m not about it will be because I’m ill, so would have to sort challenge out later if necessary. Long story which I’ll cut short. This time last year I was rushed into hospital (was in for 12 days) with a severe gallbladder infection which took ages to recover from. Anyway, have been getting similar pain since the weekend so trying to keep everything crossed that it’s not happening again as I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy! Off to Drs on Friday if no improvement.

I haven't forgotten to post the cutting mat to you, I need to sort some more bits out for you! ... you weren't here a few months back, but I managed to slice off my finger end with my scalpel so please be careful as it wouldn't stop bleeding!!

Tia  welcome to the madhouse :j If you need inspiration we all have blogs which we post our cards on, someone somewhere will be able to post a list of links (craftygranny?) and if you look on there there are some beautiful cards

Wifey - Did you go for the Whimsy one?

cardpaper - Hope you feel better soon :( how awful for you xxx

Morning everyone ... I have had a total of 45 mins sleep ... not sure if I have had some kind of allergic reaction to the anaesthetic yesterday but I feel really ill and sick, have been up all night as I couldn't sleep and finally managed to drift off between 6 and 7 then the alarm went off!! its been a long night :rotfl: have managed to get ahead a little and have posts scheduled for the next 3 days so want to try and get ahead some more with DT work and then craft for fun! :j

Hope everyone has a good day! :j
