  • Hi Georgiegirl I think you are after a draghtsmans drawing board. I just tried to find you on Facebook as it is always nice to link up with a fellow crafter. Do you have a black cat as your profile photo?

    Yes I do xxx

Artydoll - love your fairy card and your box is fab too. Don't be disheartened about your cards not selling on ebay, I think sometimes it can take a while for you to build up a customer base - have you thought about putting a link from your blog to your ebay cards?

Jowri - welcome back - I'm glad to hear that your eye is better!

Rainmac - love your animal cards - they're so pretty and delicate - love the decorated inside too!

I love Barbara Gray's work. She demonstrates on C&C on the second Sunday of every month. I find it mesmerising what she can do. I've not attempted any of it yet. There is a double ended brush that I've also seen demonstrated which give similar results to a brayer.

Hope everybody is feeling ok (ish) and have a halfway decent day xxx

I've seen this brush demonstrated on C&C. The effects are quite good (and yes, similar to a brayered finish). But I think they are quite expensive. I've used the cheapest of the cheap make-up brushes (the big bronzer or powder type brushes) to the same effect.

artydoll - have you tried using Rock a Blocks for stamping. My hands are quite bad now with the RA but I can manage to stamp with these blocks.

Melissa I have Hazel (It's my favourite) and Mabel, I think the one I don't have is Gertie But I cannot find the third one I bought .... says a lot about the state of my craft room really :o

Have finished painting my kitchen/dining room, just the hall/stairs to do, then I want OH to replace the three different laminate flooring with one throughout, I have been wanting this for a year now but he doesn't want to do it .... I wouldn't mind but he is a builder and I am actually paying his mate to do it ... he doesn't want 'the mess' so we are off floor shopping this weekend :p

Craftygranny /forgive me for being behind is Carly talking or using BSL? (I took BSL level 1 and 2 at night school so hence my interest!), whatever you should be shouting that young ladies achievements from the roof tops :T

FF If I can remember how to get a photo off me computer I will have a card on my blob for your challenge soon (I hope!)

I have no idea who Barbara Gray is and daren't look at the moment due to trying to be good and not buy before Friday ;)
