Not sure if you know, Silly Monkey Crafts are closing down and have a 50% off sale - I am in no way related to the business, just thought I would let you all know (I spent a small fortune there this morning lol) xxSo much for 'Money Saving'

Afternoon ladies. We went round to visit my new nephew this morning, she had him Friday afternoon. He is a little cutie - they've called him Dylan Thomas. The poor thing has a little bruised head though - they had to use the suction cup thingie on him. S-i-l is relieved that its all over now - I don't think she had realised how painful it was going to be!
Flying_fresian - fab cards - love your "get well" one - the image is really cute! Your "green" card is really pretty and I love the backing paper on your "sausage" card!
Nannyboo1 - beautiful book card - love the cupcakes, and I love the font on your get well card. Your craft room looks great - really well organised!
Rainmac - I hope this week goes a bit better for you, I'm glad to hear that you figured out a solution to DS's problem.
Choccy - Happy belated birthday wishes - hope you're back and posing with us soon!
Paddingtondoo - hope your OH gets some results from his tests tomorrow.0 -

I was trying to work out how something could have 100% off (in the sale items at the side) but then it came up saying they didn't have anything listed! I'm on a stash ban, i've bought so much recently i'm not allowed any more so it's probably a good thing they dont have anything i would like!Life is like a box of chocolates..........you always seem to pick the hard ones!0 -

Well I started putting stuff in my basket, then discovered it was free P&P if you spent over £20, so added a bit more of stuff that I will always use (like sticky tape) and by the time I got to the checkout, some of the stuff had sold out, so it took me below £20, so then I had to find something else to add that would take me over £20 (but only just) and then got to the checkout again, and discovered something else had sold out.
By the time that happened twice more, I decided I didn't need anything at all. So that's another £20 saved today:money:
Besides which I paid £15 for decent paint brushes yesterday.0 -
Hello!
Another one signing back in from the chaos that was GNPE at Harrogate. I spent a bit of money and now need to go back on the wagon. It was bedlamic, after an hour & a half (& serious words with the chap on the Stampman stall grrr ) I had a headache so went to find DH, have coffee & cake to recharge my batteries and start again! We've unpacked, had a snack and we are about to go to see a Kate Rusby concert so will try & get my 'trophies' on my blob another time.
Viclspence - glad you made it after all0
