I forgot to ask does anyone have any tips for sticking ribbon lace onto card? I have been trying but you can see the sticky tape/glue and it looks rubbish!0

Artydoll Did you get my PM about the free CD rom? Just wondering if mine has something wrong with it or you don't have as many images/papers as shown in the tutorials too.
Hello everyone. Been reading, just not got a lot to say. I've made a couple of cards but yet to get them photographed.
Hope everything is going OK with your recovery Rusty. Hugs to you.

Evening all - just a quickie from me.
Flourgirl im on the OSAAT DT - will email stitchy for ya - no idea what the prize was either
Rainmac - glad you've sorted out DS2 at preschool - DD had problems with a girl at preschool and they have gone right through primary together and soon onto high school and still get on like a cat and a dog will they end up at the same school?
OH had his bloods back and his sugar level is quote very high so he has an appointment with the nurse on Monday - he tried to do too much yesterday as he felt fine but has knocked himself back today - hopefully we'll know a bit more on MondayOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Hello
Sorry I've not been about - I'm not on my usual pc but wanted to say Happy Birthday to Choccy.
We have had a fabulous day to day in York, it's been sunny but very cold and apart from having a yummy tea in Betty's I was very good and didn't spend anything!I hope to rectify that tomorrow at GNPE Harrogate. I'll look out for you DTB and ali.B. although if it's like last time I went I'll struggle to see my own shadow. Sorry you can't go Viclspence
.
Rainmac - sorry you've had such a carp week.Sometimes life is just like that:( (Hugs)Hope next week is a lot better for you. I like your solution for DS2 but wonder how many more children the biter child will bite before they can do something about him/her?
Padster - Hope DH gets some answers on Monday and gets sorted by meds so jabs are not needed. Keep up the good work with the ciggies :j- we only managed to afford a car when my Dad gave up smoking.
Mad Frog - I try to anchor ribbon/lace on the back of the piece of card with DST so the front is actually loose IYSWIM then do the bow separate. HTH0 -
just popping to say hi. I am not even joking when i say i have been ill for about a month now,I just keep getting one think after another. Recently we have all had a sick bug and it's took a while to get over.
Rainmac hugs sorry to hear you have been having trouble with the pre-school it's so frustrating isn't it, i think it is the right thing to do. I wish it was as easy for me to do but it would be punishing my ds to take him out of school. things have gone quiet at my end and fingers crossed it stays that way.
I'm planning a good crafting session next week as hubby is away so i will be bored in the evenings and i have lots of cards to do.
Iv'e had the show dates though for max paper craft shows today don't know if i will bother this year or not.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0 -
Evening, and first of all,
Happy Birthday Choccy - hope you’ve had a fab birthday!
Rusty - wishing you a very speedy recovery and grab all the sleep you can while you can!
artydoll - great card with the little owls
Addams - love your three Tilda cards
flying_fresian - hope you’ll feel better soon
carmim - good luck with your job application - how fab to work in a craft shop!
rainmac - so sorry to read that your poor DS was bitten again. Have just read your update and I think you are doing the right thing by taking him out from Monday session.
Melissa - good news from the scan and not too much longer til baby M makes her appearance!
Nannyboo - love your craft room
flourgirl - hope you’re not too worn out after all that domestic goddessy stuff!
Padster - hope Mr. Padster gets on OK on Monday.
So my plan for the weekend is to have a proper play with my new stash. I treated myself to the new House Mouse Insert CD. I’ve not really gone for CD crafting yet so hope I’ll get on OK. I think I’ll need to get some ‘proper’ paper for printing on though.
