CraftyGranny - sending you lots of hugs to you and your family xxx
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000
  • craftygranny hugs to all the family life is so un fair and keeps giving the knocks. Fingers crossed for more good news to come. I was only looking at Alicia's facebook page yesterday to see if there was an update.

I didn't get any cards done today, i shouldn't say i am hoping to do some then i might do them. We had parents eveing today and ds1 got a good report but she said he was a good, quiet, sensible boy! she must have him confussed with someone else as i have a crazy mad man on my hands.

I always used to think that on parents evening too. my kids never listened at home or didn't seem to but at school they hung on every word.

Thank you for all the good wishes we are kind of getting used to it all. Just wish every step forward for lissy wouldn't mean one step back for her too. We were praying the tumour would be stopped but never thought this horrible cyst would grow again.

  • Hiya - not been posting but have been reading. Nothing much to post, just trying to pack up my stuff and see if any room left for any Mod Podge!!!!

craftygranny - sorry to hear your news, hope things start to look up for you soon. I've put the badge for the Ear Trust in my side bar and linked it to the Ear Trust Website.

rainmac - I hope your mum is feeling better and more positive. It's good that she will be seeing someone soon, at least they can give you some more info to help you all deal with the news.

Hopefully going into San Francisco for the day on Saturday, not sure what we will be doing there yet. I wanted to go across the Golden Gate Bridge but I don't like heights and I'm worried we will get half way across and I will have a panic attack!!!!

Hope everyone is ok and congrats to the latest winners.

PONR - good luck with your packing. I am sure you will be able to find a little space for some modge podge!

Thanks also for the comment on the newspaper style card. I blogged last night. Still busy doing my Christmas cards, but when I have finished, then I will do a little tutorial on how to make them now I have worked them out.

The setting up of the first one I found quite tricky, but once you have done it, then for each subsequent cards, you just need to change the date, comment, name, age and colour, and resave it on the computer.

Until I did my first one, I didn't know much about Publisher, and still don't, but if you can create/use text boxes in word then you can make one of these cards, because that is basically how they are created.

Hopefully I'll get around to doing it one day next week.

CT that would be absolutely brilliant if you could do a tutorial, I'm rubbish with Publisher and all my DH keeps saying is just keep playing until you get it right!!! No help at all :(
