    Hi All,

Hope you are all ok. I am quite new to card making, like to think I make nice but VERY basic cards! :o

However.....someone has asked me to make a ballroom dancing themed card, and I have looked but cant find anything nice. Has anyone got any ideas, or knows where maybe I can get something like a die cut of a ballroom dancing couple??

Sorry if it seems like I am butting in, I tend to be more of a reader than a poster, but could really do with your help!

    Thanks in advance

    Jill

Thanks to Crafty Granny and KMS for sending me the freebie from Facebook yesterday, much appreciated. I'm hoping that when I return from holiday I'll be able to fix my printer and play with all of the lovely digis I've been gathering!

I haven't been able to make any more cards as we're now staying with a friend who has a three year old - he's not getting his hands on my Promarkers (or my craft knife!)!! I'm looking forward to getting home and making some more lovely cards though, I need to make sure I don't run out of steam and have to - shock horror - buy cards for Christmas!

We've been playing good news bad news today i think . Alicia had a scan last week to check how the treatment is working for her . Results came last night . Alicia's scan showed that her tumour has shrunk but a cyst she has on the tumour has grown . Its just a case of wait and see now !!!!!!!!

My daughter got a call from the hospital this morning , turns out kobie carly's brother has a heart murmer and they are referring him to a cardiologist to check if he has a hole in his heart like his uncle adam, Daniel adam's twin got the dates through for his heart tests this morning. I'm telling them all at least we know what's what and it can be treated which is better than not knowing but it's wearing a little thin now even to me.

Oh well onward and upwards as they say.

Hope everyone is well and big hugs to rainmacs mum i know how rainmac must feel at the moment .

flying fresian. I just messaged you.

PONR - good luck with your packing. I am sure you will be able to find a little space for some modge podge!

Thanks also for the comment on the newspaper style card. I blogged last night. Still busy doing my Christmas cards, but when I have finished, then I will do a little tutorial on how to make them now I have worked them out.

The setting up of the first one I found quite tricky, but once you have done it, then for each subsequent cards, you just need to change the date, comment, name, age and colour, and resave it on the computer.

Until I did my first one, I didn't know much about Publisher, and still don't, but if you can create/use text boxes in word then you can make one of these cards, because that is basically how they are created.

Hopefully I'll get around to doing it one day next week.

Ooh that would be fab as I love the cards and would love to be able to create them!!! Cheers in advance!!!!
