Hi all,
Hope you don't mind me joining in?
I'm getting married next year and have decided to do the invitations myself . I've made a few birthday cards for OH before (all very amaturish) but I enjoyed doing it.
I'm currently working my way through "Part 1" of this thread and i'm learning things already, went into poundland there and bought some glue, gems, card and the bumper craft pack (omg you get loads).
I'm very excited to get stuck in this weekend :j0 -
Welcome to the Thread Miss Maid - good luck with doing your wedding invites. If you need any advice on anything, just ask and someone will be able to help.
Congratulations to another winner today.
I've started working on the tutorial for the newpaper cards, I think it is going to be long! Would anyone be willing to be a 'guinea pig' for me, once I have done the instructions. Just so I know they can be followed, because the trouble is when writing it all down, I know what I mean and have to do. I just need someone to go through the instructions to make sure they are understandable and the intructions work to let you make this style of card. Any volunteers?
Rusty - my OH doesn't like the style of the newspaper cards either, and I got the same response from him when I asked could he help me use publisher. It may have taken me a while to work it out, but I showed him, I could do it. He is 50 in a couple of years, so guess what kind of card he is getting. Just need to find some embellishments for a grumpy old man :rotfl: :rotfl:.2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -

We went shopping this morning and Philip has put his back out!! I had to leave him in Morrisons Cafe cos he couldnt stand up! By the time I had done my bits and bobs he had managed to get to the car, and old chap told him he needed a walking stick!! I just keep telling him he is nearly 60!!0 -
