Well I finally got round to visiting LOTV to order some of their new stamps and the stupid sentiment stamp sets were out of stock again, apparently they're due in on Friday - I'll just have to remember to check back in time.
I was meant to go and get my swine flu jab today, but I rang them and they advised me not to come in if I had a cold, I was relieved although I must go and get it done.

TomsMom - I can really sympathise with you losing all of your programmes - I use my sky plus box every day and I would be so gutted if I lost it all.

Marg - its great to hear from you - glad you are okay - congrats on winning the challenge.

Choccy - how did your Dad get on with your poorly cuttlebug?

OAP1945 - great card - the colours are fab, and the background paper is really pretty.

Rainmac - I hope you managed to get your school paperwork sorted - you are good, I'm afraid I don't get involved at all with my kids' school!

Lizalloareds - Your sweetie hamper looks yummy - I love flying saucers - they're my favourite! Lovely card too!!

Hi all well what a week already! my friend has been round in tears wanting to leave her hushand but he is very controlling and she can't leave. Ds1 had tiny run in with that boy that gave him a black and and now my niece is in the HDU with a rare condition. Praying she will be ok.

trying to chill by doing some stamping but i am not getting on very well with colouring them in! I mean how simple is it to colour. But i can't do it, it's annoying me now. I am using promarkers and i'm not getting a very good finish to the images at all.

infact they look like a child has done them. I don't think i have the right mix of colours as well i think they are all to bright.

Anyway grump over with. The-wife thank you the stamps came the other day, very quick.

Love the challenge marg, i have just stamped an image with water in.

I have really got the digi stamp bug, they are so quick to arrive, and I have no patience I have been busy working ( we had our ofstead inspection a couple of weeks ago and got outstanding in all areas!!!) and I have not been having my day off in the week, and weekends have been taken up getting the loft ready for insulating, still once thats done I will have a place to put all the stuff I have got and a place to chill, and I got a kindle and thats been taking a lot of spare time up reading I love it and it means I can purge my books because they are everywhere. Ohh and I finally get my engagement ring back today its taken 6 weeks to replace the diamond, and for a change I had all my hair cut off into a short bob. yep its been busy

I am going to sarahs for coffee this morning and have just made cranberry and orange muffins and they taste lush

Wanna-be - Hope you get a date soon for your op.

Well done to all those who got the crafty ribbons - cant wait to see your creations

Marg - Love your challenge. Just waiting to be inspired now! Dont overdo it, just take it easy and enjoy not having to do much.

Louby - sounds like your household is having a bad time of it at the moment, sending you lots of hugs. Hope things improve soon. There are some tutorials for promarkers out there, it helps to watch how its done. I tend to go over it quickly and then go back over it in small circlular motions to get it to look good. Then theres shading, but havent quite got the hang of that yet!

Jowri - sounds like you have had a busy week! Those muffins do sound lush!

Hugs to all. Off to work again today, so might not be back till alot later! xx

You ladies talking about housework makes me feel so much better about mine!

  • Thanks, My niece is worse than i thought, She was paralyzed last night so they put her under sedation to recover, She is on a ventilator and has tubes coming out her nose and stomach. She been given drugs and slowly coming around this morning, She can hear and nod her head. I was hoping to go and see her tonight but i don't think we will be allowed.

Just going off now to make her the brightest card ever.

Louby That's a shame - do they know what is wrong with her? I'd be terrified if that was happening to me never mind a child - poor wee soul. Got everything crossed for you. Hugs

Jowri Wow it sounds hectic at your side - bet you can't wait for your craft room to be finished. Congratulations on your ofsted!! :T:T Happy haircut too :)
