Thanks, My niece is worse than i thought, She was paralyzed last night so they put her under sedation to recover, She is on a ventilator and has tubes coming out her nose and stomach. She been given drugs and slowly coming around this morning, She can hear and nod her head. I was hoping to go and see her tonight but i don't think we will be allowed.

Just going off now to make her the brightest card ever.

Oh Louby:( how sad, how old is she? I think a bright card will be just lovely and would really perk her up! Do you mind if i send her one?

Ladies you have me hooked on Big Fat Gypsy Weddings! We have some gypsy living 3 doors away (they live in a house, not me in a caravan!:rotfl:) They keep to themselves although when they first moved in the kids used to try to come in our house all the time and if any of the kids in the street leave anything out they help themselves to it, but other than that they are nice enough, it is the visitors they have which are the pains in the butt! I was so shocked st the kids in the programme though! OMG all that make up and the clothes and don't get me started on the dancing!!! My 10 year old DD was shocked at that too!

The Wife - i got my post yesterday, thank you so much, the stamps are lovely, i will be using them tonight as my other step sister (i have 2) has just had her baby and this time it was a boy. So i now have a neice and a nephew (step) born a month apart! So they are ideal!

Marg - Hope you feel better soon, please take it easy. Oh and great challenge by the way, i have a few ideas for that one ;)

Sorry if i have forgotten anyone.

aww thanks that is lovely, i must admit i am in shock at the moment. It's all happened so fast. It was her 14 birthday a week ago today and we all went out on sunday for meal by wed she is like this.

Still don't know what she has, as they won't leave her bedside but keep getting txt the docs have said that they may only see it once in their career it's so rare but that they diagnosed her so quick.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)

Hi ladies, I'm hoping to get cracking on another card today. I'm feeling much more positive about my card making now - my mojo must have definately come back, I just hope it stays!!

Louby-Lou-Lou - you poor thing! I hope your neice gets better soon and that your friend finds the courage to leave her OH. Sending you hugs.

Jowri - congrats on getting a fab ofsted report - hope you manage to get some well deserved rest soon.

KMS - fancy becoming an auntie twice in the same month!!! My s-i-l is due her first baby in March (3 weeks before me), so OH's mum will be a granny twice over in the space of a month.

    Good Morning!

Louby - So sorry to hear about your neice it must have been a shock for you all.

Jowri - gosh! your life sounds so busy at the moment.

PepPop - I got your email but not actioned it yet - Thank you

Craftygranny - how are things going with the Twins? Have they had their operations yet?

This keeping my head down is driving me mad! Apart from being a bit tired and a sore eye I feel OK! I can't even watch TV which would normally be a diversion Hey Ho! See the surgeon again tomorrow so may be allowed a bit more heads up after that........

WBR - Hope you get an early date for your op. They only tested me for MRSA in my nose but my neice has just been telling me she had an op on her hand 2 weeks ago and they made her conduct her own MRSA test in a much more intimate area and didn't leave the room while she did it so I guess nose & armpits are OK!!! :)

Wifey - Have you heard any more about your operation? - I believe if what happened to you had happened up here they would just have 'done' you last then had a deep clean of the theatre and not used it for 12 hours after to make sure the risk had gone.

    Head down again now!

Hi Marg, glad to see you are ok and doing as you are told and keeping your head down, dont do too much, sounds like slow and steady will be the best result. Love your new challenge, will have to get my thinking cap on for that one!

Louby how awful for your niece and family, keep thinking positive. I'm sending extra special cyber hugs for you all (((((((xxxxx)))))))

kms Thankyou for your email, I have returned one :) xx

Melissa your cards are beautiful, I'm so pleased you have found your mojo. Are you feeling any better?

Jowri Gosh you have a busylife. Congratulations on your OFSTED report. My sons step-kids go to school at the comp in St Budeaux, that not your school is it?

Has anyone heard from BunBun lately, I was just thinking about her yesterday.

My task for this afternoon is to have a go at cutting some shaped card blanks out on the Silhouette, there seems to be a few challenges about for shaped cards. I will report back later :)

    Snipped you - sorry!

LOL - the nurse that swabbed me said that they had been having a huge debate about where the swabs should come from and that a recent decision to do the anus and perinium had just been thrown out! Apparently the nursing staff fancied doing it as much as the patients would've liked having it done! Nose and armpit seemed quite an agreeable area after that announcement.:rotfl:

Re Wifey's op they wouldn't have done it down here either. Apparently you have to have 2 clear consecutive swaps a fortnight apart. So I'm just praying that I'm not a carrier!! DS had MRSA when he was 2 and wouldn't wish it upon anyone, so fully understand and appreciate the caution that the hospital approaching it with these days.

Hope you will be able to be heads up soon!! Oh and fab challenge btw. x

Louby - so very sorry to hear about your niece, hope she makes a full and rapid recovery.

Mel - judging by the card on your blog your mojo is definately back!

Jowri - well done on your OFSTED, don't where you find the time to fit it all in!

KMS - glad you enjoyed BFGW! I definately think it is one of the best programmes on TV atm and of course the added bonus is that Shameless follows it immediately afterwards and that always makes me LOL!

Hope everyone else is OK and sorry if I've missed or forgotton anyone. x
  • Oh my Louby .. How awful .. Hope she starts feeling abit better soon then you can all relax abit. Sounds like she is getting lots of medical attention though which is good as she may get diagnosed and treated mega fast xxx

Melissa and jowri i still have a poorly bug. My dad took it to bits and said that theres a cast alliminium block that has snapped in half. Its where the bearings are that hold the bottom runner. Thats why theres no pressure !! Whats worse is its out of warrenty :( Ive emailed Provocraft to see what they say but dad said there must of been some kind of fault as theres no way that it could of been broken by hand. If i had used too much pressure then the handle would of snapped instead of a cast aliminium block ! Im abit worried about getting another one now ! So think that i may get a big shot lol. Ive had the bug less than 18 months so surely it shouldnt of broken .. Anyway i will let everyone know what Provocraft say but i am not holding my breath lol

Off to read proper and catch up xxxx
furrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:

Louby , Hope your niece feels better soon. It must be very worrying for you all. Hope your friend finds the strength she needs to leave her oh.

Marg . Thank you for asking about the twins . Adam is still waiting for a date for his op. Danny had his tests done on friday and so far he seems to be ok but they are booking him an ultrasound just to be sure .

my dil had to go to hospital this morning . her baby is due on 1st march but she was losing quite a bit of blood and it panicked her. doctors said babys fine but she has to stay till tomorrow to be safe.
