Good Morning!
Thank you for your good wishes Ladies I really appreciate your healing thoughts.
I spent time yesterday catching up on here which isn't easy when I have to keep my head down for huge chunks of time. I am 'allowed' 10 minutes freedom per hour. Feels like my life is on hold for a while. I resorted to 'hugging' the laptop keyboard to my chest so the screen was on my lap - better for reading than typing!
So a few comments I can remember, chief of which was huge hugs for Wanna B and her son for the beating he took at school it must have been so tough to send him to school on Monday and then to face the head to get more appropriate action for the culprit. Well Done! Defending your family is one of the most powerful emotions I can think of.
Hope poorlies are all better now, especially your little granddaughter Scatty - what a worry with one so young. Rusty, Lei, OAP & TomsMum.
Giggle - you seem to have been very lucky to escape with smoke damage. Phew!
Rainmac congratulations on the new arrival :j:j
TomsMum - I've got the 'Downton Abbey' DVD set, my friend has it at the moment, but I'll send to you when she returns it. It is fab you'll love it - I did!
KMS ? I think -lost your HD and digis - it's my constant fear I really must do something about it - my PC shop are offering on line automatic back up and I am wondering about it. If I can help by sending anything/all I've got please let me know.
DH telling me off now for too much heads up time  I'll pop back later to set the next challenge.0 -

Give provocraft a call choccy and see what they say. It might be repairable or they might be able to advise you on what to try.The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -
Marg - you're back!! Nice to see you back on here, take things easy. x
PONR - I'm with O2 too, so guess that is what happened
Scatty -:eek: re gypsy wedding, what are they thinking letting their little ones dress and dance like that?? DD was watching and just looked at me and grinned and said "oh dear" I think that kind of sums it up for me!! Also the mother of the bride looked like she'd fallen into a vat of spray tan and her outfit was "interesting". Definately one the best programmes on atm.
I've just got back from the hospital - it looks like I should be getting my op soon (had to have blood taken and my nose and armpits swabbed -nice!!).
On a totally different subject those of you who shop in British Bookshops, they've gone into administration. So yet another craft outlet gone:(0 -

Sorry Marg, snipped you.
Good to see you back, healing hugs for you winging their way over.
Very kind of you to offer the Downton Abbey DVD set but not to worry, DH said he would buy it for me  - he's less averse to spending money now, very strange after a lifetime of being careful. Hey ho, go with the flow I say :rotfl: . Thank you anyway, it was a lovely thought.
Only popped on for a minute, have to sort Dirty Gertie (aka Poppy) out, we've just got back from the beach and she had great fun sliding in the dampish sand to catch her stick. Very mucky undercarriage at the mo :rotfl: . She gets a long awaited haircut tomorrow :j, we had to cancel the last one when we were snowed in in December and then the groomer had flu.
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Wifey You are a star
Glad to see you're back Marg - sending you huge hugs and I hope you're being careful. I'll email your blinkie to you tonight
WBR I've had my throat swapped but something about getting your nose swapped just sounds yeuch!! When will you find out your date?
