WBR, glad your DS went to school willingly, not sure I would have done tbh
Sounds like the meeting went ok x
Marg, hope you are ok x
My car apparently has a dodgy spark plug, going to cost £81 when I go pick it up tomorrow, MUST NOT BUY ANY MORE STASH FOR QUITE A WHILE:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Right back to operation tidy up - I seem to spend longer looking at it - than actually doing anything so if anyone would like to come and sort it out I'll gladly send you my addy :rotfl:
I have got no further with mine than having a bit of a sort out and putting some of my stash in storage boxes and chucking out a load of little bits of paper. The boxes need to go into the under stairs cupboard but have lived all week on my living room floor as I haven't got round to clearing out the rest of the cupboard. Hobbycraft have 20% off the RUBs and I got a 12x12 flat-ish one for just over £4 to live under a sofa with my work in progress stuff. I had such motiviation to get sorted last week but can't be ar*ed with it now. Maybe you could come do mine and I could come do yours?
I can well recommend the Oreo brownies, they were delicious and devoured by everyone. Making another batch tomorrow for OH's brother's birthday:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Sorry Melissa - meant to say hope you feel better soon. Got carried away with the heat embossing!!!The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0

Hi ladies, can i ask for some advice regarding spellbinders nesties?.
I love the effect of mating and layering with the scalloped edge oval
nesties etc. Are they compatable with the Big Shot? and would you say that the ovals are the best choice to begin with, also they seem to come in classic and large set sizes, which would be the most useful size to buy?. If anyone knows where I can get them at the best price i would appreciate you letting me know, have looked on ebay and they seem to be either £13.95 or £16.95 for 5 or six cutters.
Thank you0 -
Rainmac- sorry to hear about your car, they are so expensive to mend x
rusty and melissa- oh no i hope you start to feel better soon xxx
PONR- i love heat embossing as well, it means i can colour in and stay in the lines!
Georgie- i use nesties in my bigshot, no worries at all. i have classic size ovals and circles, normal and scalloped. both good, but once you start that's it you want them all!0 -

Hiya, I have oval nesties large and don't get as much use out of them as I thought I would as they don't always fit what I want them to. Have you looked at the Nellie Snellen Dies? Bit more cost effective and similar sizes although a bit flatter.
Thanks for the tip about painting with eyeshadow WBR- have some cheapy brown ones I bought but hadn't thought of adding water don't think I'll risk my clinique ones OH will really think I've lost the plot
Ouch re the car Rainmac - why oh why are they so expensive to fix
Glad it went okish at school WBR - hope you're feeling proud of yourself being big and brave - I still have a problem talking to DD's teachers even though I'm years older than most of them
OH is the bestest OH in the world - he's just bought me a new laptop - I have offered to pay the delivery charge so it's here before he's away for the end of the week in case I can't set my email up - off to back up my "small" file of digis on the external hard drive i snaffled off him a few weeks ago - he should put his stuff away :rotfl::rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

so sorry to hear youre poorly Rusty, hope you feel better soon
rainmac ouch £81 for one spark plug!
PONR - how long did your fimo moulds take to arrive? I bought some on Thursday evening and was hoping they might have come today but I suppose that was wishful thinkingI ordered some gorgeous looking flower ones as I didnt have much success moulding it by hand, I think a 2 year old could have done better
WBR so glad you went down the school and they appear to be taking it more seriously now x0 -

See now I'm just going to get confused - There is a Tom's Mum (like me) there is a Marg (like me) and now there is another Georgie (who has a big shot - like me)

Hiya - they take around 5 days I think as he makes the moulds to order. He is sending me a replacement one also and I haven't received that yet. I assume they take time to set after he has poured the sillicone. They are on ebay as well and I remember reading that on there. I'm ordering some more and I want several of the flower ones as well to make rings with!!!
I don't mind hand moulding but it takes abit of practice! The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0
