  • Evening ladies. What's all this talk of cleaning?? Are you trying to put me to shame - LOL!!! I ended up going to TKMaxx with a friend who rang this morning and said she was popping over and did I want to go, so thought it would be rude not too!! Ended up buying another American Crafts 12 x 12 scrapbook kit as they'd gone down to £3 and the girl on the till said that as of tomorrow everything in the clearance will be reduced by £1 a day until it's gone! So I really have to get scrapbooking now!!!

    Congratulations to our winner :)

CT - please thank Harry for picking me as a winner and a huge thanks for running the challenge.

    Tomsmum
    - your card is on its way, I'm so sorry it's late. xx

MaryOP - what about a cave painting effect. I could stamp you some of my basic grey archaic set and you could then arrange them as a backing paper or decoupage them to give some dimension??

    Rainmac
    - did you give that baby plenty of squidges?? :)

Sorry if I've forgotton anyone xx
  • Hello and happy Sunday to all - hope you've had a good weekend. I'm not sure I can keep up with blogging, reading blogs and posting and replying to everything here - you ladies sure are busy! I think I'm up to date on blogs and have left quite a few comments. I've managed to get up to date here too I think.
The Wife - so sorry to read your op was cancelled and having had same happen to me know just how grrrr-making it is!
Paddington - hope you're feeling a bit better today
flourgirl - love the wedding invites. They look very elegant and you did good!
wanna-save-more - a big hello wave and welcome
Toms Mum - Belated birthday wishes, hope your day went well and you and your DH can go and celebrate soon
Rusty - hope your little missy is soon on the mend, sounds as though she's had a real tough time of it
Marg - hugs to you and hope your op went well
Giggle - Eeek at your fire. Sorry you have to redo the laundry but at least you're safe and well
Wanna-b-rich - so sorry to read of your son's horrible experience - really hope you can get some more appropriate response from the school.
viclspence - great that you got your refund and well done on spending some of it already - sounds like great bargains!
jowri - hope your craft room is finished soon - you'll have to post some photos when it's up and running
Georgiegirl - I love reading your blog and posts - you have a real way with words
Rainmac - huge congraulations on becoming an Auntie - hope the cuddles were lovely today

Right I've tried to keep it brief and I've read loads - Apologies to anyone I've missed.

I had a little trip to Hobbycraft yesterday and treated myself to a new MS heart border punch. Was also naughty last night and let a few things fall into my basket whilst browsing the Joanna Sheen site - might have been another MS punch - floral vine - and a Marianne Creatables die, few promarkers and an inkpad ;-))

Happy Birthday to TomsMom - hope you are feeling well enough today to celebrate your birthday!!!! Hope you have a great day.

I just got back from the Range and was very disappointed. They had only about half of the usual amount of cardmaking stuff and had instead filled the space with luggage. They had a bit of reduced stuff upstairs but reduced by only £1 or 50p so rubbish! Looks like they are scaling back on the selection of cardmaking bits that they are going to stock now.

I did buy a Creativity mag which had some cupcake stamps and a flower embossing folder in it as a free gift. Not bad for £2.50 if anyone is interested in it!

Had to laugh - just had a random anon comment left on my homepage that read "Hi there, I found your blog via Google while searching for first aid for a heart attack and your post looks very interesting for me.." - the post I had made was for Cuttlebugging and Felt Hair Clips - made me laugh anyway!!!! Hope they didn't have someone experiencing a heart attack and the person giving first aid got side tracked by felt hair clips!:rotfl::rotfl:

Hi Ladies, thank you for all your lovely comments on my Wedding Invite and the lady loved it!!!! in fact the order is now at 40ish. Thank goodness I made the design simple. She also asked if I made Wedding cakes  I said no to that one lol I did make my sons cake and was pleased how it turned out but not something I want to do for a stranger. Then he went and got divorced :rotfl: Don't think it was anything to do with the cake though :rotfl:

LoL this did make me laugh! It was prob a spam comment though, I get loads talking about unmentionable things  luckily I have to approve them so I can delete them first, else my blog might be classed as X-rated!

Happy belated birthday to Tomsmom! so sorry I didnt manage to log on yesterday!

and congrats to Rainmac on becoming an auntie! :)

Evening ladies - I've been feeling rough all day - only a cold - but its made me feel miserable!! I feel a bit better now though. I've been trying to finish a card off all day - its driving me crackers 'cos I can't decide what colour ribbon to use so I've put it to one side until tomorrow! There's so many crafty things that I want to buy at the minute - but I'm having to tell myself not to get carried away because I've got so much stuff already!

GeorgieGirl2012 - fab cards - love the background paper on the fishing one - the colours are really pretty, and love your oriental card too - the lantern is so cute!

Congrats to our latest winners - great cards!

Rainmac - hope you had a fab day today with your new nephew - love your latest card - such a clever idea to put booties inside and the card itself is gorgeous!

I think it must of been spam but it was harmless! The spam filter gets rid of the more obscene ones and the jumbled up ones so I don't worry too much about them!!! It made me laugh!!!!:rotfl::rotfl:

I took Friday off, with the intention of doing so many things - Friday was quite a nice, leisurely day, Saturday, well, least said about that the better, and then today, felt really sick half the day, and about 9.30 decided I should start doing what I intended to do Friday. And yes, I should have been cleaning - but have made a couple of men cards. And uploaded all my new CDS that I won on ebay.
