  • Evening I've calmed down a little bit now, but could cry everytime I look at my boy! Thank you for all the comments and advise. I'm not sure what the police can do as DS is only 9 as is the boy concerned. DS is quite distressed by his appearance and said " I look so ugly now", bless him. We've tried to explain that people will realise that he's had an "accident", but he's adament that he's not going out this weekend!

DH has written a letter to the school and stated in no uncertain terms that this is an assault and that there is no excuse for this behaviour and requested that an immediate appointment is made for us to see the head. Unfortunately, I getting the feeling that they will try and fob us of as apparently the boy's mother is an alcoholic.

Flourgirl - I love those invites, I'm sure that your customer will too. Bless your little grandaughter, hope her bruises go soon.

Rainmac - enjoy your visit on Sunday and make sure you get in plenty of cuddles

Tomsmum - I'm so very very sorry that I've missed your birthday (I thought it was 22/2). I hope you've had a good day x

Vicspence - glad you got your money, enjoy spending it :)

Sorry if I've missed anyone, hugs to all. x

Wanna-b-rich - So sorry to hear about your son, no wonder you were so upset - I hope you both feel better today. There's been a few incidents happen with my oldest son too at school, once he was pushed over whilst playing football and got a huge gash in his head - he had to go to hospital in an ambulance, he's still got a huge scar. The school seem reluctant to ever do anything about - I can't believe yours' thought it was enough to send this boy home with a behaviour slip!!!

CT19720 - are your kids still behaving for you????

Flourgirl - hope your grand daughter is feeling better today - poor little mite!

:bdaycake:HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOMSMUM, really hope you have a fantastic day and get thoroughly spoilt :bdaycake:xxxx

Melissa, the kids are behaving so far, and have let us have a lie in, just off to watch them both play football, so we will see what this afternoon holds. I am pretty sure though this good behaviour by both of them won't last until tomorrow morning.

I'll catch up properly later - hope everyone has a good day.

    xx

Please can some kind soul send me the link to CP as I have a RAK for some unmounted stamps. Ta!

WBR the child's parent is not your problem, your little one comes first and don't let them play the 'compassion' card, the other boy has obviously never understood what the word means. I just feel for your little 'un.
 Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"!

  • Off to spend my refund. Hubby left the slow cooker on all night so need to buy another one of those too, house smells of Bovril though so not too bad x
Life is like a box of chocolates..........you always seem to pick the hard ones!
  • hi guys, i'm finally writing something rather then just lurking. DH is having a lie in, so i can have a couple of hours to myself, and maybe even make a few cards :)

i have looked at your blogs but i really need to get back into commenting on them, work is just so tiring at the moment, we have a parent's evening every other week and an awful lot a meetings in between. so when i get home i am fit for nothing!

i've also agreed to make my friends wedding invitations. they were originally planning to get married in 2012, but have brought it forward to august this year :eek::eek:!!! i'm not going to charge them, and give it them as a wedding present- they want to help make them with me so that will save on the time front. just got to spray love hearts with spray and shine!
