    Step away now!!!!!!!

I've just got one of my silicon baking sheets, folded it in half and run it through my sizzix. Fortunately I tested it on a scrap piece of cad, because despite me having washed it,it was not quite as clean as it would need to be. But on the plus side, it works, so in the short term I won't need to buy one of them there fancy mats thingies that you need to get the embossing boards to work.

    Happy New Year!
so lovely to read your crafty posts. I've been spending a bit at my local craft shop, Sir Stampalot and hobbycraft - what fabulous sales. Christmas was so disorganised this year- I only made about 8 cards in all! will try and keep up with the birthday list and do some catch up. I'm gonna try and join a DT aswell this year fingers crossed - I always worry that my cards aren't good enough.

Wanna-be - thanks for the info. Will try the tan mats and if they dont work will get a impressions pad

PONR - I brought one of the butterfly dies at the NEC. They now sell foam that you impress into the die, so the cuts dont get stuck. (It wasn't very expensive!)

Hope everyone had a good new year. Hugs to all. xx
