Can anyone help? I need to get absoloutely loads of tiny gems. I have brought some in the past but typically i can't remember where i got them from. I need about 400 all the same colours. I would prefer the self adhesive ones. Anyone got any ideas?
  • my laptop crashed and lost all the items in my sizzix cart.

But I'm not a girl who is easily defeated...

The Wife - sorry meant to say this might be some use, she has lots of different ones so you might want to trawl through (I posted it a few weeks ago, so if you've already bookmarked it sorry).

KMS - I got these gems from eBay - delivery was seriously slow, but for that price I didn't mind. I think Padster has a good link for cheap micro dots. Alternatively, just buy clear diamonte ones and colour them with Promarkers or alcohol inks.

kms, I'm not sure if it is Padster but someone on here has a link to an ebay seller who does loads of gems, not sure if they are sticky backed though.

snap! wbr! and thank you for the Miss kitty link, just what I'm looking for.

  • PONR - thanks for your lovely comment, do want me to cut a few for you? or measure the die to see if it goes through the Cuttlebug?

The - Wife glad that's what you were looking for. I have bookmarked her as a fave as there is loads of Disney stuff as well.

wbr, thank you very much for the link, I've downloaded the file and they are just perfect and I've bookmarked her site too, so much to choose from.

  • Just a quick heads up for you ladies who like Sweet Pea Stamps, there's details on my blog of how you can win three stamps and some of the gorgeous Crafty Purple Frog decoupage sheets. I'd love someone from here to win.

Craftygranny thanks for the link, I am looking for a MS punch its the deep border butterfly one if you see one anywhere quite cheap

CT thankyou for pointing out Willow's win she just nearly fell off the Wii board with excitement lol
  • I hope everyone is having a lovely New Years's Day. We've just had a roast beef dinner and are settling down to a quiet evening in front of tv with a couple of drinks. Am off to investigate some of these fantastic links - note to self, do not need more stash, do not need more stash - arrgghh who am I kidding??

Enjoy the rest of the day, Thriftyxxx
  • I see everyone has their MSE heads on :) LOL

WHS have loads of Papermainia bits reduced to 50p, I managed to get some gems and ribbons.

Addams - I have lots of texture plates and use the impressions pad and silicone mat, but if I were you I'd try the tan mat first. The impressions pad is a black plate which is slightly deeper than the clear plates and adds extra pressure to the silicone mat. If you find yourself having to buy a mat look here or here

I'm going to attempt to reclaim the dining room table - all attempts thus far have been thwarted, but I have itchy hands and am deperate to play with my new stash.

I very much have my MSE head on - I've saved on heating bills by staying in bed all day, I've saved on washing powder by not getting dressed (and not dirtying clothes), I've saved on food bills, by not eating anything except a stale piece of home made bread (toasted), and I've saved £172.23 by buying sizzix stuff in the sale.

I have not, unfortunately, saved P&P because spending over £60 does not mean you get it for free, so that's £6.94 I would rather not have spent.

It does also mean I will save on the grocery shopping for the rest of the month because I'm not sure I can afford to eat now so if somebody would like to send me a food parcel I'll be very appreciative:beer:
