Good Morning from the snowy seaside!

We had our first 'proper' snowfall yesterday evening so you can come & play here Gemm if you like. :rotfl:

It looks very pretty from my window but I'm dreading going out in it.

MIL was taken back into hospital on Thursday teatime & I'm hoping they don't rush to send her out this time - on current form we will need to find a nursing home for her :(. My sister in law is over from Leeds so we had a very welcome 'day off' yesterday but were so tired we didn't get much done so need to crack on today.

    Hugs to you all :)
  • It's snowing here (weather forecast said it would start at around 10am and it started at 10:17 think that's the most accuarate they've ever been!!).

Artydoll - it looks lovely, hope it stops snowing for you soon.

Marg- sorry to hear about your MIL, hope you get everything done today.

I'm off to try and make all the last minute bits n bobs. Somehow or other I've managed to lumber myself with my friends son for the night, so just hope that DS and him behave otherwise I might just have to get cross with them! Hugs to you all. x
  • Hugs to everyone in the snow. Don't think were supposed to get any this time round or only a tiny bit.

Don't want to be in any more trouble at work lol

Hope you cen get something sorted for MIL Marg you don't need any extra to deal with
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Quickie from me - in the throes of pre-Christmas madness.
    Wanted to say....
Thanks to PepPop - parcel arrived today, beautiful card, presents now safely ensconced under the tree.
CraftyGranny - I popped a little package in the post for you today - a little something for Kaitlyn in lieu of a thank you card for the lovely stash you sent.
and to my Secret Santa receiver - your parcel went in the post today - so sorry it was late - was waiting on a delivery. Sent first class so should be with you by Easter.

We have snow now too, just had a phone call to say the tea with Father Christmas has been cancelled because of the weather :(:(:(, thank goodness I had kept it as a surprise so my boys are none the wiser ;). Put the tree up and a few pressies underneath (including my secret santa pressies, thank you x). Going to venture out with the sledges in a bit I think. Nutters? Yep we are :D

Oh Marg, so sorry to hear that x

Take care and stay warm xxx
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain
  • We had snow in the early hours also. I went out in the garden earlier to refill the bird feeders up with seed and hang some fat balls. The birds get really hungry in this weather!

Need to go out and buy a small tree, hope to do that tomorrow!!!!

Hope no one has been too badly hit by the snow so far.
