  • Aww wifey - bless you. Can you try the local police station - there are still loads of nice people out there who would hand items like that in to the police.

Thank you for the cake Rainmac and happy birthday to Lyndach too.

Ladies I am so touched. As many of you know the last 18 months have been tough going and I haven't been around much on here or on Crafty Place for the last 6 months. Even so I have still had birthday cards from Rainmac, Padster, TomsMom and one other (who I'm embarrassed to say I can't link to their MSE user name. If someone could help out, I'd be grateful - the clue is cookies).

So lovely ladies - a great big thank you to you all. I've had a lovely day so far with choccies, Baileys and 4 packs of Xmas papers - Cosy Christmas, Henbury Lane Poinsettia, A Silent Night and Elegance (okay not strictly Xmas but near enough). I've also got 2 Spellbinders on order - Classic Frame and Fleur dy Lis :T:T:T. What more can a girl want - okay well maybe add George Clooney to the list :rotfl:.

Thank you again and hope everyone has a lovely and safe weekend, Thriftyxxx

Dragonllew So sorry to hear about your OH's job, there's no good time but this close to Christmas is not good at all. I hope something comes up for him soon. Sending you both hugs

Oh Wifey that's bad news - have you tried the Police to see if someone's handed them in.

Oooh I won! Thanks for letting me know Dragonllew

We got some good news yesterday - OH got a job :j. They told him last week that he hadn't got it but they would keep him on file. Another job came up so they asked him to go in yesterday afternoon and he starts on Monday morning.
