Ohhh Wifey, that's awful, my OH lost his wedding ring in the swimming pool once and went back the next day and someone had handed it on. I truly hope yours have been found by an equally honest person and handed in xxx

Ali, that's dreadful news, I'm so sorry xxx

PepPop, terrific news, bet you and your OH are bouncing off the walls, well done to Mr PepPop

I have some sad news of my own but no where near on a par with you gals, doesn't look like I am going to be seeing the big man in London tomorrow as DS1 has just been sick :( He looks truly dreadful and is now asleep - I think we will need a miracle for him to be fit for tomorrow. Oh well, there's always next year I guess, how long do children stay believing these days, am I running out of time...

    Take care everyone xxx

Been reading a bit, but not caught up properly for a week or so, been busy walking out of one job last Monday - didn't go well, as I haven't worked any notice, because I never had a contract, so don't know if they will pay me for the month I have just worked, and getting sorted out to start my new one in 2 days time. Just got the contract through so all systems go.
Congratulations to your OH PepPop on his new job. Sorry to hear about your OHs contract being terminated Dragonllew. Fingers crossed that he finds another job very soon.
TomsMom – what appalling treatment at the hospital for your DS. Hope he is on the mend very soon.
Rainmac – hope your son feels better soon, and that you are able to go to London tomorrow.
The Wife – you must be gutted about your rings, I hope that someone hands them in, so you get them back.
Happy birthday Thrifty and Lyndach – hope you both have had fab days.
Really sorry, can’t remember what I have read over the last few pages, so hugs to anyone that needs them, and congratulations to all the recent winners.
Hope your fair went really well PONR.
We have missed the snow so far, but it is freezing here. Hope to do some cards tomorrow, as it is too cold to go out - haven't done any crafting for a few weeks.

Just about got all the things together for my Christmas swap partner. Is it supposed to be a secret santa, in which case, I don’t send a card with it, or can I send a card, and say who it is from, iyswim.
    Keep safe xx
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000
  • Well - luckily the snow stopped last night so although still here this morning abit there was no problems for me in getting to my School Fair. Had a great day and sold loads more than I expected. Had some nice Chinese food for dinner and now watching CSI! It's extremely cold and when we went out to collect the food the locks on the car were playing up and the lights inside the car kept flashing on and off - it's the closest I've been to a disco in years!!!
    Congrats to the latest winner!!!

dragonllew - hope the party went well today and Aimee had a fab birthday.
PepPop - good news about your OH getting a job.
Happy Birthday to Thrifty and Lyndach
ali.b - sorry to hear about your mum's friend, must have been a terrible shock when he hadn't been ill beforehand.
The-Wife - sorry to hear about the rings, maybe try putting an advert in the local shops.
rainmac - how disappointing for you all. You never know it might be a 24 hour bug and he might be ok tomorrow.
CT - I bet you got snow today!!! It's supposed to get worse here next week. So far only snowed alittle but can't believe how cold it is. I keep typing the wrong words as fingers are cold!!!
Rusty - I received your clasps today, many thanks for those.
    Hope everyone is ok.

    Hello Everyone,

It seems like an age since I last posted, things have been busy with work and the children and I have not had much tome to craft , but I have had a quick look at blogs and have to say lovely makes everyone, I did manage to make the Christmas cake last week and am doing the christmas log tomorrow, and for most of the day today I have been manning the chocolate fountain stand at the preschools christmas fair,

So congratulations to all the winners, hugs to any one that needs them and hello everyone else,

So glad the school fair went well for you today, your makes are always gorgeous.

No still no snow here. To be honest I don't want it as it will mean a 4 1/2 mile walk each way to my new job on Monday. That would not be fun!

:wave:Hi Jowri - nice to see you posting again, hope you are keeping well:wave:

PepPop brilliant news about your OH it will make your Christmas so much more enjoyable

Wifey Soooo sorry about your rings, I lost 2 rings and never got them back, the Insurance coughed up but the rings have no sentimental value at all. I do hope some honest person hands them in at the police station.

Rainmac Don't despair yet, you know what kids are like, down one minute and then chasing round the next. I really do hope he is well enough to go, I know you had a fab time last year.

Dragonllew I'm pleased your party went well and Aimee and her friends had a brill time. You will have to have a rest day tomorrow :)
